very very pretty :D

The focus fix (when returning from alt tab) is effective in my case ;D thank you

(aaaaaah this laser weapon)

thanks a lot for the update ^^ going back to play again ;D

Played through this with pleasure again,

it put a smile on my face :))

bravo!

still coming back to this with pleasure !!!!!! :)

humble comments:

- could you make the rotation/sway of the camera optional as it makes me seasick ?

- when alt tabing out of the web export and coming back, the mouse is not picked up (maybe it is a general godot pb, I am curious to know )

really great to see you still updating, it was one of my favorite entries from mechjam 5 :)

Looking very good and very interesting!

For some reason on my machine it was difficult to click and select the cards reliably.

I love the look and the gameplay, would love to play more of this !

Ambitious and different,

but very hard to understand how to progress,

you should record a small introductory youtube video to pin on the page!

I like the atmosphere of this a lot, quite personal :)

The graphics style works very well and the idea of building a giant mech in an RTS to obliterate your ennemy is quite seducing ;)  Runs well on web!

(I had the black screen too around 140 seconds)

Cool and personal art style ;D

Nice and satisfying beam power uuuuuuup ^^

The complete package !!!!!!!!!!!

I had great fun, it emulates the feeling of PS1/Saturn mecha games perfectly, will come back to it :)

Small gameplay/atmosphere feedbacks:

- the little rotation on the camera when you walk got me a bit seasick, especially in the tps view.

- (personal taste) I do like heavier mechs with speedup, dash mechanic, I think it could suit your game well ! Dashing in and out of cover to take out bugs.

Overall quite impressive ^^ What is the engine if I might ask?

This looks awesome and I love the mecha animation and the mood !!!!!!!!!

We couldn't let go of it with my son ;D

The title/key art is very attractive and pushes me to understand it, but I couldn't figure out the gameplay ! Can you record a small youtube video to add to the itch page? like a tutorial?

This really nails the mood,

Excellent atmosphere, graphics, and music ! Really close to an AC game with the power managment twist which is great :) one of my favorites entries so far !

Regarding gameplay,

- camera is a bit low behind the mech, it is kinda difficult to see where you aim sometimes

- a cross hair is a must for a mecha game ^^ why note green or orange hud for added atmosphere !

Once again, impressive ^^

in godot linux export is one click, please think about it, I would love to try this ^^

in some games you can accelerate keeping the action button pushed, it's quite dynamic and quite funny :)

awesome art and atmosphere, once again ^^

Quite charming and well put together :) an identity of its own !

Small quality of life suggestion: it would be awesome if attack animations could be sped up or skipped by holding a button/key

WOOOOOOOOOW , am dying to play and rate this !!!! any chance for a linux or web export ???? :D

I love iso game and it suits the esthetic very very well !

dash mechanic is very mecha like, and I quite liked the ammo managment.

any chance of a linux export as this seems to use godot?

the web export is quite glitchy on my machine, which plays great godot 3.5 webgl2 exports

quite fascinating and inspiring, like a lost pc98 game ;)

Very interesting idea, I like the art too !!!!! I can see myself enjoying such a game quite a lot with a twin stick joypad !!!

Constructive criticism: The boss really needs a stun/damage animation, otherwise it is hard to read in the thick of the action.

Very hard but I liked working with the physics of the rebounding bullets! The slow and considerate pace is refreshing ;)

Quite charming !

Original theme!

Usability wise, arena shooters are really more playable with a twin stick controller!

The camera is too close in my opinion, you should see more of the arena.

Very original idea and polished entry, lots of bullet hell, I hope you push it further :)

Patterns are really intricate to navigate even on standard difficulty, default player speed is a bit too fast IMHO.

Also for usability: it doesn't install through itch io app; the txt is picked up instead, this is a must for usability if no web version is present.

Would absolutely love to play this extra original entry, but can not get it to run :( (dll missing on a fresh win10 install)

Very satisfying, but the minimal movement is too big to navigate intricate patterns.

Nice to see Godot here somewhere ;D

You should try doing a web version hosted on itch, it is a must for accessibility ;)

Superb G-darius / rtype delta vibe :)  the impression to fly across a foreign new place is superb, the ennemies pop well, the camera changes are great !!!! One of the best so far ;)

Small constructive criticisim:

for the ennemies that throw the smaller candle like bullets, projectiles are very hard to see and dodge. You should display an indication of the mask to navigate such patterns?

Also, since destroying them is mandatory to go further, the patterns of these ennemies are too dense to kill them without damage.

Very pretty and welcoming, voxels are so cool ^^

Reverse bullet hell is an interesting idea, but the gameplay was imprecise, it is hard to see how high objects are in order to properly catch them.

This great visuals and music could be used in a pure 2.5 d game easily !

I really like the atmosphere and visual package !!! Really bullethell dungeon is really a cool idea!

Gameplaywise, this really needs to be a twin stick shooter,

or wasd to move, ijkl to fire> it is too hard to look away to your mouse pointer while you are actually dodging a bullet wall :)

(1 edit)

A feast for the eyes and an experience to recommend :) Feels trippy like 'real big sky'

Perfect game jam nugget ;)

very very pretty, atmosphere is there but slow rate of fire and to hard to control !!!! it screams to be a twin stick shooter!

Quite interesting visually!

The premise of a tank controls bullet hell got me fired up, but it you need to add strafe buttons :D

Also, the 'e' button is too far from the up arrow used to move.

Really cool experience, the atmosphere is totally nailed :D

What engine is it?

Wow interesting technology choice :D !!!!

(1 edit)

The sense of flying is important IMHO with the way ennemies fly at you,

you can do simple scrolling with just horizontal bars passing by in the background.

Explosion for ennemies would give more satisfaction (vector circle, simple white noise sound).

For the boss, enery bar or sound to signify damage would be great!

The essentials are there, pretty interesting patterns ;)

I had a lot of fun with it, and the presentation is very consistent (intermissions, plane graphics, music)

Very refreshing! It has been decades since I played this style of games.

Thanks a lot, your comment made my day ^^ !
