Hyung Joon Kim M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Hyung Joon Kim earned his M.D. and Ph.D. from Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. He completed his residency in the Department of Urology at Severance Hospital and pursued a clinical fellowship in Urological Oncology at Samsung Medical Center. Dr. Kim has dedicated much of his career to the treatment of urolithiasis and advancing robotic surgeries, previously serving as a faculty member at Konyang University Hospital. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital.
Dr. Kim’s primary areas of interest include endoluminal endourology, robotic surgery for benign and malignant renal diseases, and advanced prostate cancer treatment. His research focuses on translational endourology, with the goal of developing safe and effective endoscopic treatments for urinary stone disease. He serves as a board member of several professional organizations, including the Korean Society of Endourology and Robotics (KSER), the Korean Urological Oncology Society (KUOS), and the Korean Prostate Society (KPS). As a faculty member of the Asian Urological Surgery Training & Education Group (AUSTEG), he actively trains and educates urologists in East Asia on endoscopic surgeries. Additionally, Dr. Kim is a founding member of the Asian Urological Society for Endoluminal and Technology (AUSET) and co-directs its international academic symposium, the Endoluminal Technology Symposium (ETS).

Su Jin Kim M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Su Jin Kim is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Urology, St. Vincent’s Hospital, College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea. She graduated from Yonsei Wonju University College of Medicine, Wonju, Korea, and obtained her M.D. in Medical Sciences from the same institution and Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the Catholic University. She completed her residency at Catholic University Medical Center and received her board certification in Urology in 2008. In addition, she completed clinical fellowships in Neurourology and Female Sexual dysfunction at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital from 2008 to 2011. From 2024, She works as a Clinical Associate Professor, College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea, Seoul, Korea.
Her clinical and research interest lies in neurourology, pelvic pain, female sexual dysfunction, and reconstructive urology. She has authored several peer-reviewed publications in domestic or international journals in these fields. She received several research grants and continues to study the functional problems of the bladder. She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Korean Urological Association (KUA), Korean Continence Society (KSC) and Korean Society of Geriatric Urology (KSGU), the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology (KSSMA), the Korean Association of Urogenital Tract Infection and Inflammation (KAUTII).

Woong Jin Bae M.D., Ph.D.
Woong Jin Bae is an associate professor of the Department of Urology at Seoul St. Mary's Hospital, Catholic University Medical College (CUMC) in Seoul, Korea. He completed his specialty training in urology and continued his academic and clinical career at the same hospital.
Dr. Bae's areas of specialization are sexual dysfunction, OAB, and prostate disease. His major research interests include several urological areas. He received the Best Paper award from the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology in 2015 and 2016, the Best Abstract prize in 2017 GU-HMF & GITAU, and the Best Paper award from the Korean Continence Society in 2020.
Dr. Bae's stimulating research field is natural products, including botanical drugs, stem cell therapy, big data research, and medical device development.

Jae Young Park M.D., Ph.D.
Jae Young Park M.D., Ph.D. works at Korea University Ansan Hospital as a professor. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1999 and received the National Board of Urology of Korea in 2004. Dr. Park completed the fellowship at Seoul National University Hospital in 2008 and became a faculty member of Korea University in 2008. Currently, Dr. Park is an active member of The Korean Urological Association, The Korean Prostate Society, and The Korean Urological Oncology Society. He is also a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Urology (SCIE journal), International Neurourology Journal (SCIE journal), Investigative and Clinical Urology (SCIE journal) and works as an academic editor in Medicine (SCIE journal).

Sung Yong Cho M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Sung Yong Cho graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine (SNUCM) and has worked for Seoul National University Hospital (SNUH) in Korea since 2019. As a surgical urologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating people with urolithiasis, benign prostate hyperplasia, stricture, and upper tract urothelial carcinoma, he is in charge of the Specialized Endoluminal Endourology-Stone (SEES) Center & Usability Test Center in SIMTRI (SNUH Innovative Medical Technology Research Institute) in the SNUH. He is one of the members who are leading stone surgery such as flexible ureteroscopy surgery (f-URS), supine and miniaturized percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL), and Endoscopic Combined IntraRenal surgery (ECIRS) in Korea & East Asia. He is actively performing Anatomical Endoscopic Enucleation of the Prostate (AEEP) using Holmium Laser (HoLEP) and bipolar electrodes (BipoLEP/TUEB) as well. He is the Korean representative of the Asian Guidelines of Urolithiasis Panels in 2019 and has successfully fulfilled many educational works of scientific papers and live surgeries at urology conferences as one of the founders of the AUSET (Asian Urological Society of Endoluminal & Technology, www.endoluminal.org) and an international academic symposium named ETS (Endoluminal Technology Symposium).

Sangjun YooM.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Sangjun Yoo is currently an associate professor in the Department of Urology at Seoul Metropolitan Government - Seoul National University (SMG-SNU) Boramae Medical Center, Korea. He graduated from University of Ulsan College of Medicine, Korea, in 2007 and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree and Ph.D degree in medical science at University of Ulsan College of Medicine. In addition, he also obtained a Master’s degree in biostatistics at Korean National Open University. He completed his residency at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, and received his board certification in Urology in 2012. In addition, he completed fellowships in Urologic Oncology at Asan Medical Center and SMG-SNU Boramae Medical Center.
His clinical and research interests are focused on urologic oncology, robotic surgery. He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications in international journals in these fields. Sangrak BaeM.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Sangrak Bae is an Assistant Professor and Chairman in the Department of Urology, Uijeongbu St. Mary’s Hospital, College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea. He graduated from Donga University College of Medicine, Busan, Korea, and subsequently obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the same institution. He completed his residency at Donga University Medical Center, Busan and received his board certification in Urology in 2009. In addition, he completed fellowships in Neurourology and Endourology at Konkuk University Hospital From 2012 to 2013. And he worked Uijeongbu St.Mary’s Hospital as a clinical fellowship, Clinical assistant Professor. From 2021, he works as Assistant Professor, College of Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea, Seoul, Korea.
His clinical and research interest lies in urinary tract infection, sexually transmitted disease (especially human papillomavirus infection and genital wart), endourology and neuro-urology. Dr. Hae Do Jung is currently an associate professor in the Department of Urology at Inje University Ilsan Paik Hospital, Goyang, Korea. He graduated from Inje University College of Medicine, Korea, in 2006 and subsequently obtained a Master’s degree in medical science at Inha University College of Medicine, Korea, in 2010. He completed his residency at Inha University Hospital and obtained his board certification in Urology in 2011.
His clinical and research interests are focused on minimally invasive endoscopic surgery (urolithiasis, urologic cancer) and urinary tract infection. Dr. Jongsoo Lee is a clinical assistant professor in Department of Urology at Severance Hospital, Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Republic of Korea. He graduated from Yonsei University College of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2009 and completed his Master of Medicine course at Pusan National University Graduate School of Medicine in 2013. Currently his clinical interests are focused on Urological Oncology, especially in minimal invasive, endoscopic surgery and advanced surgical instruments. His research interests are on molecular biology and medical device development which is currently working on projects with several collaborators. Dr. Ohseong Kwon, M.D., Ph.D. is currently an associate professor and a physician in the Department of Urology at Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine, Korea, and finished a Ph.D. course from the same university.

Dr. Eu Chang Hwang is a Professor in the Department of Urology, Chonnam National University Medical School. He graduated from Chonnam National University Medical School, Gwangju, Korea, and subsequently obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the same institution. He completed his residency at Chonnam National University Hospital and received his board certification in Urology in 2006. In addition, he completed fellowships at Chonnam National University Hospital. Furthermore, he has served as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Urology, Kagoshima University School of Medicine, Japan, in 2016 and Cochrane Urology at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, from 2018 to 2019.

He received the Korean Urological Association Annual Award for the best basic and clinical research in 2011 and 2015. Yajun RuanM.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Yajun Ruan obtained his Ph.D. Degree from Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China in 2018. He was jointly trained at University of California, San Francisco during his Ph.D. program (2016-2017). Currently, Dr. Ruan works as an attending physician in the department of urology, Tongji Hospital. He has participated in several projects funded by National Natural Science Foundation of China. Recently, he has been financially supported by the NSFC as the principal investigator of a Youth Fund project.
His major research interests include urinary incontinence, prostate disease and regenerative medicine in erectile dysfunction. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in these fields. Dr. Ruan served as a section editor for Annals Of Translational Medicine (2020-2021), he also severs as a reviewer for Journal of Sexual Medicine, Andrology, Translational Andrology and Urology, and Scientific Report etc.

Dr. Yun-Sok Ha is an Assistant Professor of Department of Urology, School of Medicine, Kyungpook National University. Dr. Joo Yong Lee is an Associate Professor of Department of Urology, Severance Hospital, Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea. Mohammed S. ElSheemyM.D.
Mohammed S. ElSheemy is currently a Professor of Urology at Cairo University, Egypt. After obtaining his medical degree from Cairo University in 1999, Dr. Mohammed S. ElSheemy earned a Master of Science then Doctor of Medicine in Urology in 2008. His research includes endourology and urolithiasis, SWL, pediatric urology, pediatric renal transplantation. An important part of his research was on calcular anuria in children and infants which resulted; for the 1st time, in a protocol for management depending on severity of obstruction, size and site of stones, and renal functions. Furthermore, he has several publications on Mini-PNL in adults and children. He was selected as one of the top 1% of reviewers in the field of medicine for 2016-2017-2018-2019 in the peer review week of (Publons- web of science). Dr. ElSheemy is a member of several societies in Urology including European Association of Urology (EAU), European Society for Pediatric Urology (ESPU) and Societe internationale Urologie (SIU). He has served as Assistant-Secretary of Pediatric Urology Section of Egyptian Urological Association (EUA).

Ryusuke DeguchiM.D.
Ryusuke Deguchi M.D., is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Urology in Wakayama Medical University. I graduated from Wakayama Medical University in 2014, completed residency in Wakayama Medical University Hospital (2016), and worked as a clinician at the Kainan Medical Center (2017-2019). I was belonged to Gyotoku General Hospital as a domestic student in order to improve my transurethral surgery techniques (2020), and obtained my board certification in Urology in 2020. I have other qualifications including the Certificate of da Vinci System Training as a Console Surgeon, the Certificate of Attendance at Skills Corse in Endourology.

Dr. Seok-Ho Kang M.D.,Ph.D., is a professor and physician in the Department of Urology in Korea University College of Medicine, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Matteo FerroM.D., Ph.D.
Matteo Ferro is an M.D., Ph.D., who holds a specialty in Urology. He is an urologist at division of Urology from May 2013. Dr. Sunao Shoji. M.D., Ph.D., MBA healthcare graduated from Tokyo Medical University in 2002. He completed his residency of Surgery at Department of Surgery, St. Luke’s International Hospital, Tokyo, Japan in 2004. He obtained his board certification in Urology in 2007. From 2011 to 2013, he was research fellow in Department of Urology, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA. Since 2015, he has been an Associate Professor at Department of Urology, Tokai University School of Medicine, Kanagawa, Japan.
His research interest lies in minimally invasive treatment for urologic malignancies, transurethral endoscopic surgeries for BPH and urologic malignancies, and medical economy.

He worked as a resident in Osaka University Hospital (1988-1989) and Osaka Rosai Hospital (1989-1990) and as a medical staff in Osaka Rosai Hospital (1990-1995). He worked as Research Associate in Department of Medicine, University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Center, Madison, WI, USA (1996-1997) and Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, University of Rochester, Rochester NY, USA (1997-1998). Dr. Minki Baek is an Associate Professor of Samsung Medical Center, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, Seoul, Korea. He graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea and subsequently obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the same institution. He completed his residency at Seoul National University Hospital and obtained his board certification in Urology in 2003. He completed fellowships in pediatric urology at Seoul National University Hospital in 2007.
He was appointed as a faculty at the Department of Urology, Konkuk University Hospital, Seoul, Korea in 2007 and he moved to Department of Urology, Samsung Medical Center, Sungkyunkwan University School of Medicine, Seoul, Korea in 2009. He has been serving as a visiting scholar in Urology at the Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX from 2014 until now.
His research interest lies in the pediatric urology including pediatric urological reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive surgery, pediatric urological robotic surgery, and pediatric voiding dysfunction and neurogenic bladder. Seung-June OhMD
Dr. Seung-June Oh is currently Professor of Urology at the Seoul National University College of Medicine in South Korea. After completing his undergraduate and graduate training at Seoul National University, Professor Oh pursued clinical fellowship at the Asan Medical Center in Seoul and research fellowship in the Seoul National University Hospital and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the U.S. He is also a full-time faculty member in the Department of Urology at Seoul National University Hospital, specializing in neurourology, endourology and reconstructive surgery.
In recent ten years, Professor Oh has authored or co-authored over 182 peer reviewed papers including 125 international journal articles and contributed to 12 book chapters, including a chapter in the 9th edition of Campbell’s Urology textbook as the first author. He has also featured as the Principal Investigator in 36 different studies on the lower urinary tract dysfunction areas. His primary interest is in benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), overactive bladder, and neuropathic lower urinary tract dysfunction. He is interested in the research on the urodynamic aspect of bladder outlet obstruction associated with BPH and also in the Holmium Laser Enucleation of Prostate or HoLEP for BPH. Outside his medical specialty, he is in medical device-related positions: he is the General Director of the Medical Device Clinical Trials Center and also Director of the Medical Device Usability Testing Center of the Seoul National University Hospital.
Professor Oh is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Urological Association, International Continence Society, and Endourology Society. He was elected as the President of the Korean Continence Society starting Jan. 2016.

Dr. Chan is the Clinical Associate Professor (Honorary) of the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the Consultant of the Division of Urology in the Prince of Wales Hospital.
Dr. Chan obtained his medical degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 1998. He has joined the Department of Surgery, Prince of Wales Hospital since 1999 and has held the fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong and Doctoral Degree in Medicine (CUHK). In 2008, Dr. Chan completed his fellowship in Lerner Research Institute, Cleveland Clinic Foundation, US. Dr. Kim is a female physician in the Department of Urology, Chonnam National University Hospital and also appointed as associate professor of Urology, Chonnam National University Medical School. Dr. Kim is the Acting Chief of the Division of Urology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Chief of the Section of Urologic Oncology at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
He has a clinical and laboratory interest in prostate and kidney cancer. After completing graduate and medical education at Northwestern University, Chicago, IL in 1997, he started the urology residency training at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX. Then in 2000-2001, he went to the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and completed a one-year oncology research fellowship. Following the urology residency training in 2003, he moved on to complete a fellowship in Endourology, Laparoscopy, and Robotics with Dr. Ralph V. Clayman at the University of California, Irvine. After the completion of the clinical fellowship, he started as an assistant professor at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, NJ on Aug 2005.
Since moving to Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, he has established a productive laboratory focused on inflammation/macrophages in prostate and kidney cancer and published 118 peer-reviewed manuscripts. Simultaneously he has performed over 1300 robotic prostatectomies.

Dr. Shingo Yamamoto graduated Faculty of Medicine, Kyoto University in 1981, and started his carrier as an urologist. Dr. Hong Sup Kim graduated from Wonju medical college, Yonsei University, Wonju, Korea in 1984. He finished his internship in 1985 and residency of urology in 1988 at Wonju Severance Hospital. He also obtained doctoral degree in Medical science at graduate school of Hallym University.
Started as an Instructor of Urology at Konkuk University in 1990s, Dr. Hong Sup Kim has been devoting his days to studying urologic oncology. His enthusiasm led him to Indiana University where he finished Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship. His consistent effort was so appealing that the university appointed him as Professor (2004) and chairman of Urology (2006).
He is not only a great surgeon but also a great researcher and hospital manager. Dr. Kim has been an Editorial board in The Korean Journal of Urology (2006-2008) and currently is an Executive board in The Korean Society of Urologic Oncology. He is also an active member in The Korean society of Urology and The Korean Medical Association. But his remarkable research on prostate cancer is not limited to domestic publication. Being also an International (AUA, EAU) and member (SIU) of various associations, he research is discussed throughout the continent. His consistent research on prostate cancer and bladder cancer publication of amount of papers was honored as 2010 "Best of Posters" during the annual meeting of American Urologic Association held at San Francisco, California.
Ever since 2012, he is an International Exchange member of The Korean society of Urology. Even though he is filled with the work most of the time, he finds the great balance between the work and rest. He likes Golf and hiking. In his spare time, he also loves to spend his time with beloved family.

Dr. Jung-Sik Huh graduated from medical college, Kyunghee University, Seoul, Korea in 1992. He finished his ineternship in 1993 and residency of urology in 1997 at Kyunghee medical center. He had a chance to attend oversea program to study basic science for renal cell carcinoma and prostatic cancer in University of Colorado, Denver, Colorado, USA under Dr. Fernando Kim and Dr. Hari Koul.
He made the foundation of Department of Urology, School of Medicine, Jeju National University in Jeju and was the first chairman of Department of Urology in 2001 and has been chief in Jeju Regional Cancer Center, Jeju since 2014.
He was interested in urogenital oncology, andrology, urinary tract infection, medical law, hospice and medical education.
He has served as an executive member of the Korean Association of Urogenital Tract Infection and Inflammation since 2014, the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology since 2014. He has been serving as a reviewer for the Korean Journal of Urology, the World Journal of Men's Health, the Korean association of Urogenital tract Infection and Inflammation and the Korean Association of Medical Law. Yasushi YoshinoMD, PhD
Dr. Yasushi Yoshino graduated from Hirosaki University School of Medicine, Aomori, Japan in 1993. Now he affiliates with the Japanese Urological Association (JUA), the Japanese Society of Endourology (JSE), the Japanese Continence Society (JCS), and so on.
He started his urological training after 2-year-internship including 1-year-program of anesthesiology. In 2000, he moved to Nagoya University to learn endourology, laparoscopic surgery and urologic oncology and related many Korean urologist who had taken the Nagoya-Laparoscopy-Training Program from 2002 to 2007. During this period, he also visited Hanyang University, Seoul, Korea for taking clinical fellowship of laparoscopic surgery in 2002.
He learned robotic surgery from Korea before generally establishing the robotic surgery in Japan and strove to expand and develop the quality and safety of robotic surgery. His clinical interest includes pathological oncology and engineering urology (robotics, regenerative urology and computational anatomy). He still handles Korean for exchange of opinion at the meeting and even today has friendly relations between Korea and Japan.

Dr. Ja Hyeon Ku graduated from Soonchunhyang University School of Medicine, Korea, in 1995 and completed his Urology training at Soonchunhyang University Hospital in 2000. He completed fellowships at Seoul National University Hospital (2003-2005) and subsequently obtained his Ph.D. in Department of Urology, Seoul National University College of Medicine (2005).

Thomas I.S. HwangMD, PhD
Prof. Thomas I.S. Hwang is a graduate of Taipei Medical University. He was trained in Department of Surgery at Veterans General Hospital-Taipei, and Division of Urology at Veterans General Hospital-Taichung, and is board certified in General Surgery and Urology. He specialized in Urolithiasis at Health Science Center at Dallas (1986-1987), and in Impotence Research at University of California at San Francisco (1987). He is a member of national academic associations and international societies, such as AUA, SIU, ISSM and APSSM. He has a particular interest in Andrology, Urolithiasis, renal transplantation and infertility.
He had published more than one hundred papers in world renowned journals, in the field of erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism, BPH and prostate cancer. Currently, he is an academic faculty (professor) at School of Medicine, Fu-Jen Catholic University, Taiwan and Taipei Medical University, Taipei, Taiwan. He also chairs the Department of Surgery, Shin Kong WHS Memorial Hosptial since 2004. He is doing his best effort to expend the spectrum of transplantation to other desciplines (liver, heart, chest and intestine) clinically, and basic research of molecular biology and genitics (such as microRNA, autophagy) in Urol-oncology. Jayoung (Jay) KimPhD
As an active translational scientist, Dr. Jay Kim aims to improving the means of objectively diagnosing and predicting responses to therapies in patients with urological diseases including prostate cancer, bladder cancer, or interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome (IC/PBS) and to discover the mechanistic basis for these diseases. Her research is supported by eleven active research grants including R01, U01, and P01 from NIH, and awarded by American Foundation for Urological Disease (AFUD Research Scholar), Eleanor and Miles Shore Scholar at Harvard Medical School, Interstitial Cystitis Association (ICA, IMAGINE NO IC Research Award), The Steven Spielberg Discovery Fund in Prostate Cancer Research, and New York Academy of Medicine Scholar et al. She was originally trained as a cancer biologist at Harvard Medical School, and has been a rising leader of research on basic urological diseases. Her first appointment as an Assistant Professor was at Harvard Medical School, and she is now an Associated Professor of Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and University of California Los Angeles with a joint appointment of Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Kim has served as a President of the New England BioScience Society (NEBS), a major scientific society in the eastern United States in 2005, and has organized many scientific symposia in the US and in Korea, including the Korean World Urological Conference (KWUC) at the 2013 American Urological Association (AUA) as a Program Director. She has served as a reviewer and/or editor of 25 scientific journals (e.g., Journal of Urology, The Prostate, American Journal of Pathology, and PLOS ONE). She also has been served as a grant reviewer for the PRMRP (Department of Defense), and other external grants. As an active member of International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB), Human Proteome Organization (HUPO), American Association of Cancer Research (AACR), American Urological Association (AUA), Society of Urodynamics, Female Pelvic Medicine, Urogenital Reconstruction (SUFU). NG Chi Fai, AnthonyMD
Dr NG Chi Fai, Anthony graduated in the Chinese university of Hong Kong in 1993. He then joined Department of Surgery, Prince of Wales Hospital, as surgical trainee. After his basic training, he decided to become an urologist and became a specialist in 2001. Attracted by the rapid development in endourology, he spent one year in Scotland, worked under Mr David Tolley, and gained extensive experience in endo-laparoscopic surgery and stone management.
After completion of his training, Dr Ng decided to join the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2006 and is currently Director and Professor of the S.H. Ho Urology Centre, Department of Surgery, the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is also the Course Director of the Robotic Surgery Training Programme, CUHK Hong Kong Jockey Club Minimally Invasive Surgical Skill Centre. He has a wide range of interest, in particular in prostate diseases, urolithiasis, and promotion of men's health. He was also honored with the Outstanding Young Urologist Award in 2010 by the Asian Congress of Urology, the International Guest Scholar 2012 of the American College of Surgeons and the World Chinese Urology Association Award 2014, as recognitions to his work in the field.
Besides clinical and research work, Dr Ng has also strong commitment in education and teaching. He is currently member of the educational subcommittee of the Hong Kong Urological Association and also the council member of the College of Surgeon of Hong Kong and also the Urology Board of the College of Surgeons of Hong Kong. He is actively involved in the planning of the urological training in Hong Kong. Benjamin ChungMD
Dr. Benjamin Chung is Assistant Professor of Urology, Director of Robotic and Minimally Invasive Urologic Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. He graduated from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia and completed his General Surgery preliminary training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, and Urology training at Lahey Clinic, Burlington, Massachusetts. He then completed a fellowship in endourology, laparoscopy, and robotics at Cleveland Clinic under Inderbir Gill, MD and Mihir Desai, MD.
Since 2006, he has been at Stanford University, where he is currently focusing his clinical and research interests on renal cell carcinoma and carcinoma of the prostate. He is also in the midst of completing a Masters of Epidemiology at Stanford, which will enable him to focus additional research interests on medication exposures and effects on cancer incidence.

Jian ZhuoMD
Dr. Jian Zhuo graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University in 2007. He had been trained and joined to the Department of Urology, First People's Hospital, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiaotong University, PR China, and recently he was appointed as an assistant director of Center of Prostatic Diseases, Shanghai Jiaotong University.
He majored in prostatic diseases, especially in the minimally invasive surgery of BPH treatment. In recent years, the main focus of his clinical and research interests was the Thulium laser resection of the prostate. He had published relevant articles on World Journal of Urology (WJU), Lasers in Medical Science (LIMS), Asian Journal of Andrology (AJA), and Chinese Journal of Urology (CJU). In 2008, the study of Thulium laser resection of the prostate in his department had been published on European urology (EU).
Currently, he is taking the Youth Foundation of Shanghai's Health Bureau about the surgical treatment of larger prostate. He is also taking the Foundation of Key Clinical Discipline of National Health Ministry about Sexual Dysfunction. He also serves as a reviewer for Korean Journal of Urology.

Ji Youl LeeMD, PhD
Dr. Ji Youl Lee is a Professor and Director of the Urology Oncology Team at the St. Mary's Hospital of the Catholic University of Korea in Seoul, and recently he was appointed a director of out-patient department. He completed his Master's and Doctorate at the Catholic University. Following this, he completed his residency in Urology at St. Mary's Hospital and a Research fellowship in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. The main focus of his clinical and research interests lies in the genitourinary cancer (especially prostate cancer), minimally invasive surgery, and tissue engineering.
Currently, he successfully runs the Korea Prostate Bank established in 2006. It contains a nation-wide network of 29 hospitals in Korea and funded by government. It has also signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with major hospitals in USA, China, Japan, Taiwan, Australia and Singapore. He has been serving as an active member of Korean Urological Association (KUA), Korean Prostate Society (KPS) and Asian Pacific Prostate Society (APPS).

Hana YoonMD, PhD
Dr. Hana Yoon graduated from Ewha Womans University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea, in 1994. She had been trained and joined to the Department of Urology at her alma mater in 2002 as an assistant professor.
In addition, she is a scientific reviewer for International Neurourology Journal, World Journal of Men's Health, International Journal of Urology, and International Journal of Impotence Research.
She has also been active members of the various academic societies; the chair of the educational committee of the Korean Continence Society, executive director of the Korean Association of Urogenital Tract Infection and Inflammation, executive director of Korean Association for Sexology, and Committee member of International Society for Sexual Medicine.
Currently she is working as a professor of Urology, School of Medicine, Ewha Womans University. The main focus of her clinical and research interests lies in neurourology, female urology, and female sexual medicine. Han JungMD, PhD
Dr. Han Jung is working as an associate professor in the Department of Urology, Gachon University Gil Medical Center. The main focus of his clinical and research interests lies in Urologic Oncology, Calculus in Kidney and pediatric urologic diseases. He has authored or co-authored more than 60 peer-reviewed publications in both local and international journals in the field of urology.
He has graduated from Yonsei University Wonju College of Medicine in 1995. He finished his Urology residency training in 2000 at Asan Medical Center, Seoul. He also obtained PhD degree in Urology at Graduate School of Ulsan University.
He has been clinical fellow in the Department of Urology, City of Hope, Duarte, CA, USA during 2010-2011. City of Hope is best known as a cancer treatment center. It has been designated a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute, a branch of the National Institutes of Health, part of the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
He has been also active member of Korean Urological Association, member of Korean Urological Oncology and member of Korean Endourological Society. He has been serving as a reviewer for the Korean Journal of Urology.

Dr. Tetsuya Takao is Associate Professor of the Department of Urology, Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka, Japan, since 2011. He currently belongs to more than 20 medical societies, such as, American Society of Andrology, International Continence Society, Japanese Urological Association, Japan Society of Andrology, Japan Society for Reproductive Medicine, Japanese Society of Endourology, Japan Society for Transplantation, Japan Society of Clinical Oncology, and so on.

Dr. Cho is a professor of the Department of Urology, Inje Univeristy College of Medicine and director of the Department of Urology, Ilsanpaik Hospital.
He graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea in 1985. He completed his urology residency in 1993 at the Department of Urology, Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea and has been faculty member of the Department of Urology, Inje University College of Medicine, Gimhae, Korea, since 1995. He got the PhD degree at the Department of Pharmacology, Korea Univeristy College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea.
He had been senior fellow in the Department of Urology, University of Washington, Seattle, WA, USA during 1998-1999 (mentor: John N. Kreiger). At that time he was studied for PCR in chronic prostatitis.
He has served as an executive member of the Korean Association of Urogenital Tract Infection and Inflammation since 1999, the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology since 1993 and the Korean Prostate Society since 1997.
The main focus of his clinical and research interests lies in the prostatic disease, especially prostatitis, urogenital infection and andrology. He has about 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications on his concern fields.
He also serves as a reviewer for Korean Journal of Urology, Korean Journal of Urogenital Tract Infection and Inflammation, and Korean Journal of Andrology.

Young Deuk ChoiMD, PhD
Dr. Choi is a professor of the Department of Urology, Yonsei University College of Medicine and directors of Robot and Minimal Invasive Surgery Center, Clinical Trials Center for Medical Devices and Urologic Cancer Center, Severance Hospital, Seoul, Korea. He is also the president of the Korean Society of Urological Research.
He graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea in 1986. He completed his urology residency in 1991 and has been faculty member of the Department of Urology, Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea, since 1998. He has been research fellow in the Department of Urology, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA during 2001-2002.
Dr. Choi has performed more than 1409 robotic surgeries including 1100 cases of robot-assisted radical prostatectomies until Aug. 2013. Especially, he is a fast and unique robotic surgeon carrying out the extraperitoneal robot-assisted radical prostatectomy in the world. In addition, he performed more than 900 cases of urologic oncologic surgeries under general anesthesia including bladder, renal, and prostate cancer in 2012.
His research interest includes two primary topics as survivals for urologic malignancies and new technology for various diseases. He has more than 150 peer-reviewed scientific publications on urologic oncology.

Hyun Jun ParkMD, PhD
Dr. Hyun Jun Park graduated from Pusan National University College of Medicine, Korea, in 1998 and first joined the Department of Urology at his alma mater in 2004 as an assistant professor. He has been serving as a reviewer for the Korean Journal of Urology and is also an editor in chief for the World Journal of Men's Health.
In addition, he is a scientific reviewer for International Journal of Urology, Aging Male, and International Journal of Impotence Research. He has also been active in various academic societies, including working as the director of information committee for the Korean Association for Sexology, as the director of publication committee for the Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology, and as vice managing executive officer of the Korean Society for Men’s Health and Aging.
Currently he is working as an associate professor in the Department of Urology, Pusan National University College of Medicine and Pusan National University Hospital. The main focus of his clinical and research interests lies in sexual medicine, male infertility, prostatic disease, and other urologic diseases. Taek Won KangMD, PhD
Taek Won Kang obtained his medical degree at the Medical School of Chonnam National University, Korea, and completed his urology residency in 2003 and has been staff member of the Department of Urology, Chonnam National University Hospital, Korea, since 2003. He concluded a 1-year research fellowship at the Department of Urology, Indiana University, Indiana, United States, under the training of Dr. Chinghai.
He has authored or co-authored more than 80 peer-reviewed publications, is an active reviewer for numerous urologic and oncologic journals, and has served as a member of KJU's editorial board at large since 2012.
His clinical and research interests embrace the field of urologic oncology. His research is focused on molecular mechanisms, markers, early detection, prediction of prognosis, and translational research about kidney, prostate and bladder cancers.

Yun Seob SongMD, PhD
Dr. Yun Seob Song has graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine, Seoul, Korea in 1987. He finished his Urology residency training in 1992 at Yonsei University College of Medicine, Severance Hospital, Seoul. He also obtained PhD degree in Pharmacology at Graduate School of Yonsei University.
He started his career as clinical lecturer at University College of Medicine, Severance Hospital, Seoul in 1995 and became an permanent lecturer at Soonchunhyang University Hospital, Seoul in 1997. He became a professor in 2008.
He is interested in prostate, voiding dysfunction and erectile dysfunction. Clinical and basic research are investigated including prostate, stem cells, cancer stem cell, cell mediated gene therapy, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
He earned the best article of Korean Urological Association in 2005 and 2007. He also earned the best presentation in 2007 Asia Pacific Society for Sexual Medicine, the second prize for basic science in 2012 Asia Pacific Prostate Society, the third best abstract of basic research in 2013 European Association of Urology annual meeting.
He has been also active member of Korean Urological Association, Director of Korean Continence Society, Director of Korean Society for Sexual Medicine and Andrology and Active member of Korean Urological Oncology. He has served as an editorial board in Korean Journal of Urology from 2006 to 2008. Currently, he is an editorial board in LUTS.

Kijun SongPhD
Dr. Kijun Song has taken Ph.D in biostatistics from Yonsei University, Korea in 2004 and has been working for Department of Biostatistics, Yonsei University College of Medicine since 1997.
He has been serving as a biostatistics consultant for Korean Journal of Urology since 2006. Especially, he assesses the appropriateness of statistical methodology, interpretation, and description in submitted papers of Korean Journal of Urology. Also, he is a reviewer of statistics for Journal of Korean Academic of Nursing Administration, Journal of Health Informatics and Statistics, and Healthcare Informatics Research.
He has been a member of academic societies such as International Biometric Society, Korean Society of Statistics, Korean Society of Health Informatics and Statistics, Korean Society for Clinical Trial, and Korean Society of Biostatistics. He has been joined for hundreds of various clinical researches such as Liver Cirrhosis Clinical Research, Cardiovascular Genome Research, Translational Research Informatics, Research on the Assessment of laparoscopic Surgery, and etc.
He is interested in clinical prediction modeling, statistics in clinical trials, longitudinal data analysis, and statistical genetics.
Currently, he is working at Department of Biostatistics Yonsei University College of Medicine and Liver Cirrhosis Clinical Research Center as an assistant professor.

Koon Ho RhaMD, PhD
Dr. Koon Ho Rha is Professor of Urology and Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery Center. He underwent fellowship training in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution as Engineering and Urology endowed fellow, and served as visiting Assistant Professor in Urology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr. Rha first performed robotic prostatectomy in East Asia in 2005 and has performed the most cases in Asia with more than 1500 cases of robotic cases including some 1300 cases of robotic prostatectomies. With cumulative experiences, Dr. Rha’s team developed world’s first robotic approaches of nephroureterectomies and single-incision partial nephrectomies. His research interest includes robotic platform and device development. He has performed robotic surgery and proctored more than 60 occasions, including US, China, Japan, Taiwan, Czech Republic, Singapore, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia.
Dr. Rha has more than 130 peer-reviewed scientific publications on minimally invasive urological surgery. He was the editor of Korean Journal of Endourology and currently Associate Editor of Korean Journal of Urology and member of editorial board of BJU International, International Journal of Urology and Journal of Robotic Surgery. He also serves as reviewer for Journal of Urology and Journal of Endourology.

Jae Shin ParkMD, PhD
Dr. Jae Shin Park has graduated from Kyungpook National University College of Medicine, Daegu, Korea in 1982. He finished his internship at National Medical Center, Seoul (1983) and urology residency training at Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center, Daegu in 1990. He also obtained Doctroral degree in Medical Science at Graduate School of Keimyung University.
He started his career as a clinical urologist at Daegu Catholic University Medical Center, Daegu in 1990 and became an assistant professor in 1991. His interest in pediatric urology made him to spend a year (1996-1997) as a research fellow at Children’s National Medical Center, affiliated with George Washington University Hospital, Washington, D.C, USA. During and after that time, he published several papers regarding renal scarring after acute pyelonephritis and pyeloplasty for uretero-pelvic junction obstruction in children. After returning to Korea, he has continued his career as a specialist in a field of pediatric urology and also in uro-oncology to become a professor at 2000.
He has been also very active in various academic society, including working as a board member in The Korean Urology Association, The Korean Society of Pediatirc Urology, The Korean Uorological Oncology Society, The Korean Prostate Society and The Korean Andrological Society. He also did many paper-works locally and internationally. He has served as an editor in Korean Journal of Pediatric Urology from 2006 to 2010 and an editorial board member in Korean Journal of Urology from 2008 to 2012. He also published more than 70 papers in both local and international journals in the field of pediatric urology and the other urology field. Currently, he is an editorial board member in Case Reports in Urology.

Jinsoo ChungMD, PhD
Dr. Chung is a specialist in Urologic Oncology at Department of Urology, Center for Prostate Cancer, National Cancer Center, Korea and is also a chief scientist of Genitourininary Cancer Branch in Division of Translational & Clinical Research II, National Cancer Center Research Institute. Currently he is a full member of American Society of Clinical Oncology, corresponding member of the European Association of Urology and an international member of American Urological Association.
After obtaining his MD from Seoul National University College of Medicine, he completed his Internship and Residency training at Seoul National University Hospital in 1994, and completing a Clinical Fellowship in Urology at Ulsan University Hospital. He also obtained Doctoral degree in Medical Science at Graduate School of Seoul National University in 2001. Prior to present appointment, he served as Instructor and subsequently Assistant Professor of Urology, College of Medicine, University of Ulsan. He has been visiting Assistant Researcher in the Department of Urology, School of medicine, University of California, Los Angeles, USA during 2004-2005.
As a specialist in Urologic Oncology, Dr. Chung maintain active research programs, with interests centered on clinical and translational research on the treatment of Renal cell carcinoma and he have run several clinical trials on treatment and research of mRCC and adjuvant, neoadjuvant trials on RCC with several targeted agents, including several Phase II or III clinical trials. He has published more than 60 clinical and research articles in both local and international journals in the fields of Urooncology and contributed to several book charters in Korea. He is a reviewer for several urologic and scientific journals and had been an editorial board member of Korean Journal of Urology from 2008 to 2012. He received the best reviewer of the year 2010, The Korean Journal of Urology.

Sung Kyu HongMD, PhD
Dr. Sung Kyu Hong graduated from Seoul National University College of Medicine, Korea, in 1996 and first joined the Department of Urology at his alma mater in 2007 as an assistant professor. He has been serving as an associate editor for the Korean Journal of Urology since 2009 and is also an editorial board member for Case Reports in Urology and Prostate International.
In addition, he is a scientific reviewer for European Urology, Journal of Urology, Prostate, BJU International, UROLOGY, International Journal of Urology, BMC Urology, and Journal of Medicinal Food. He has also been active in various academic societies, including working as the director of international communications for the Asian Pacific Prostate Society (APPS) and as vice managing executive officer of the Korean Prostate Society.
Currently as an associate professor in the Department of Urology, Seoul National University College of Medicine and Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, he is working at the Sidney Kimmel Center for Prostate and Urologic Cancers, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, as a visiting scholar (mentors: Peter T. Scardino, James A. Eastham, and Hans Lilja). The main focus of his clinical and research interests lies in prostate cancer, prostatic disease, and other urologic cancers.
