Marjorie Housepian Dobkin (armenio: Մարջըրի Հուսեփյան-Դոբկին), nascite Marjorie Anaïs Housepian, 21 de novembre 1922 - 8 de februario 2013, era un autor e un professor de anglese e decano a Barnard College, Columbia University, Nove York. Su libros include le romance A Houseful of Love ("Un Domo Plen de Amor") (un bestseller in le lista de bestselleres del New York Times[1] e del New York Herald Tribune[2]) e le historia Smyrna 1922: Le Destruction de un Citate[3].

Housepian Dobkin, le filia del immigrantes armenie Dr. Moses Housepian e su sposa Makrouhie (née Ashjian), ha nascite in 1922 duo e un medie menses post que su granpatre era occidite per un soldato turc durante le arder de Smyrna, ab le qual su granmatre fugiva como un refugiato. Su fratre era le neurochirurgo Dr. Edgar Housepian. Illa habeva tres filios, includente le poeta in interlingua e actor Julio Dobkin[9].
