Design notes: The overall design is based on Art Nouveau, a style popular at the time radioactivity was discovered. Small design elements are taken from Ready-to-Use Art Nouveau Small Frames and Borders (Dover Clip-Art Series). The main font is Garamond; the large drop-in capital letters are from Dan X. Solo, Ready-to-Use Art Nouveau Alphabets, also published by Dover; the display font used elsewhere is ITC Benguiat. The colors are inspired by the stained glass of Louis Comfort Tiffany.
