Yeah he uh did the whole abuse thing en masse. His ex wife would find babysitters who he could have sex with IIRC. It was a whole thing, the women involved weren’t exactly left feeling like they had any choice in the matter. But I don’t really remember the details.

It’s common in Estonia too but in the slop burgers usually. The ones with like coleslaw or some shit drowning out the shitty patty that has zero beef content, you’ll be happy if it has pork.
I don’t think anyone on your continent would call it a burger even lol
Which is why I, not an American but way too invested in American politics because I’m terminally online (and once upon a time actually wanted to move to the US - not anymore), always said that the right answer is to vote for the shitty blue presidential candidate, but give the milquetoast dems hell in any and all primaries.
I so fucking hope that Mamdani getting elected and actually changing things for the better in NYC changes something in democratic voters’ minds to the point that the party actually has to account for it.

The fact that the cheapest Windows devices are like 100 euros and the cheapest MacOS devices like 1000 euros?

They retconned it to mean that the Kessel Run was close to a black hole so you couldn’t go near unless very fast and agile, so most ships had to take a longer route, so parsecs became distance again

News@lemmy.world•AI gold rush sees tech firms embracing 72-hour weeks
3·3 days agoI’m a bit burnt out and have ADHD so it only works if I have a gun to my head and I can’t do it consistently, but essentially if I worked these 72 hour weeks for 2 or 3 years straight, I could actually buy a very nice home with no loan whatsoever.
But that’s because I contract through my own company for a pretty decent hourly rate. Reality is I’m working more like 70 hours a month since about May lol

They’re all great laptops, just at quite different price points.

3·4 days agoDiversity is good, competition is good, but these are all such huge projects that having TOO many is bad because that’s less funding for any individual project
Personally I would’ve loved if they’d taken on Bevy and increased that project’s funding a lot. It’s an existing engine, but a lot less famous than Godot and currently not as usable yet. One day it may be a worthy competitor to Godot though.

Don’t think we’ve had one last less than a decade.
But if you don’t need one, you don’t need one. No need to clutter your home with another appliance just because it can occasionally heat up leftovers in a minute or something. I find it convenient but I’ve also lived without it and it was fine.
