I’m in the energy business and work with Chinese partenaires. This project was an investigation. The construction industry has been in overdrive for the last 30y.
When it Will slow down, all these machines, people, etc will need something to do. This was the whole purpose.

I don’t think this is the problem.
Rather: they know they don’t have an edge against Chinese EV and on the other hand, people who can afford a combustion in the future will be able to pay double for a car.
So they will increase their prices to maintain their profit and position themselves towards Ferrari & co.
