I wanted to address this bug: https://bugs.gentoo.org/953851 and figured that it'd probably be best to try to increase the minimum version upstream.
I tried building with
cmake_minimum_required(VERSION 3.31)and that seems to work, but I chose a more conservative number here.See: https://cmake.org/cmake/help/latest/manual/cmake-policies.7.html
