That does not seem to work, can you check in the settings of the repo that you have the green tick as described in:

https://help.github.com/articles/setting-up-your-pages-site-repository/#confirming-your-custom-domain-setup-on-github

Ok I joined the org and can now see it. There is the green tick. But I still get a 404...
