Welcome to the gentoo-install wiki!

Um. Hi. This is meant for my use, mostly. My old script was meant for a different time, different contexts. I'm not going to be updating scripts like these unless I need to do an install, and I'm not going to be continually doing that.

Historically, it wasn't easy to do a gentoo install with a working GUI environment, you weren't going to have an SSH context to work with, getting data into the machine--that you could trivially upgrade and ship back off-machine--was difficult and toilsome.

Today, I can boot a live image, open a browser, log into github, google docs, wherever. Which means it should be easy to move updated scripts and snippets in and out.

So let's try using this wiki for that purpose, and see what happens.
