Issue being fixed or feature implemented

If you input more than the set price for a token direct purchase, you would only pay the set price, but the expected document in the proof had the price you input.

What was done?

The actual price paid is not readily available in proof verification, so just added purchaseCost to ignore_fields.

Walkthrough

The change adds validation for the TokenTransition::DirectPurchase variant by checking that the purchaseCost in the historical document does not exceed the agreed purchase cost before ignoring the purchaseCost field during document comparison.

Changes

File(s) Change Summary
packages/rs-drive/src/verify/state_transition/verify_state_transition_was_executed_with_proof/v0/mod.rs Added validation to ensure purchaseCost does not exceed the agreed cost and then ignore purchaseCost in the comparison for TokenTransition::DirectPurchase.

Poem

A token hops from here to there,
With purchase cost it need not care.
Now DirectPurchase joins the crew,
Ignored fields list gets something new.
The docs compare with lighter load—
Hooray for code that’s better owed!
