The Nuggets will be without Nikola Jokic for a second straight game.

Jokic missed Sunday's game in Memphis due to personal reasons. He also missed the Nuggets' first NBA Cup game Friday in New Orleans. The three-time Most Valuable Player led the Nuggets to a 7-3 start by averaging a triple-double. Denver lost its first game of the season that Jokic was unavailable.

Dario Saric started in Jokic's place alongside Jamal Murray, Christian Braun, Michael Porter Jr. and Peyton Watson, who filled Aaron Gordon's spot, in Friday's loss to the Pelicans.

Jokic's status for Tuesday's game in Memphis is to be determined.
