screen dump
<graphics>
(Or "screen shot") An image, often stored in a file, of what was displayed on a computer's screen at some time. Sending someone a screen dump can be very useful for remote support and diagnosis because it may show important details that the user didn't realise were significant, e.g. which web browser they were using.
