Building for everyone.

Last updated: January 12, 2026

Our Commitment

Folding Sky Co. is committed to making our website and apps accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is an ongoing priority across all our products.

Website Accessibility

We work to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our target standard for this website. We have implemented the following accessibility features:

  • Keyboard navigation throughout the site, including dropdown menus
  • ARIA landmarks and labels to help screen reader users navigate (main, navigation, footer regions)
  • Descriptive alt text for images
  • Visible focus indicators for interactive elements
  • Sufficient color contrast in both light and dark modes
  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Labels for form controls and interactive elements
  • Screen reader announcements for external links
  • Decorative icons marked with aria-hidden to avoid screen reader clutter
  • SVG diagrams and animations have descriptive aria-labels
  • Reduced motion support respects prefers-reduced-motion preference

App Accessibility

All our iOS and macOS apps (Alarmist, Busybody, Cumbersome, Dense) are designed to work with system assistive technologies:

  • VoiceOver: Descriptive labels, hints, and values for all controls. State changes are announced automatically.
  • Voice Control: All interactive elements are labeled for hands-free operation.
  • Dynamic Type: Text scales with your system text size preferences.
  • Reduced Motion: Animations respect your system preference to minimize or eliminate motion.
  • Sufficient Contrast: UI elements meet contrast requirements for visibility.
  • Non-Color Indicators: Status information uses icons and text alongside color, not color alone.

Platform-Specific Notes

macOS apps (Busybody, Cumbersome, Dense): Full keyboard navigation with standard macOS shortcuts. Cumbersome supports Enter to send messages, Shift+Enter for newline, Cmd+N for new chat, and Cmd+, for settings.

Known Limitations

Our website and apps have not undergone formal accessibility audits. While we have implemented accessibility best practices, there may be areas that need improvement. If you encounter any barriers, please let us know.

Feedback

If you experience any difficulty accessing content on this site or in our apps, or have suggestions for improving accessibility, please reach out through our support page or email us at [email protected]. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to address issues promptly.

Standards Reference

For web accessibility, we aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA (opens in new tab), the current W3C recommendation. For iOS apps, we follow Apple's Accessibility Guidelines (opens in new tab) and best practices for assistive technology support.
