1Password Overview
What is 1Password?

1Password brings together top-notch security with great design. It works as a desktop with browser extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Brave. It also offers an intuitive password sharing capability, which makes it perfect for families, with intuitive sharing options. For free users, 1Password also offers vaults that can be used for both personal and sharing purposes. The Watchtower feature crawls a website to make sure no existing passwords being used are compromised and it also comes with dark web monitoring. Data categorization also lets users store passwords in a very organized way.

"No need to remember your passwords anymore!"
What do you like best about 1Password?

The ability to generate and securely store as many tricky passwords as I need and be able to access them over a range of devices.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

A bit fiddly trying to read, rather than copy, your passwords.

What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?

Improved cybersecurity as we're now able to use long, complicated and different passwords for each site, without worrying about forgetting them or having a paper record.

"Extremely happy with our move to 1password"
What do you like best about 1Password?

The clients are good, cross-platform and have powerful CLI and scripting capabilities.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

It's hard to call this a dislike, but compared to our previous solution, the policies are very basic and can't be applied to subsets of accounts.

What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?

1password is a robust enterprise password management solution that allows us to easily and securly share passwords within our organization. We have also begun to utilize the secrets management to enable us to keep passwords out of configuration files and give more flexibility to dev->prod rollouts of configurations.

"Really good password manager"
What do you like best about 1Password?

I have been using 1Password for several years now, and I must say it is an exceptional password manager that has greatly simplified and secured my digital life. From the moment I started using it, I was impressed by its robust features and user-friendly interface. First and foremost, the security measures implemented by 1Password are top-notch. The master password and optional two-factor authentication provide a solid layer of protection for my sensitive data. It is also easy to use and team members like it. 1Password's integration with various platforms and browsers is seamless, allowing me to access my passwords and secure notes from any device or browser. Whether I'm using my desktop, laptop, smartphone, or tablet, I can effortlessly synchronize my data and have it readily available whenever I need it. The password generator feature is a game-changer. It not only generates strong, unique passwords for all my accounts but also automatically fills them in on websites and apps, saving me valuable time and eliminating the need to remember complex passwords. I have also been able to share it with the team and get them to start using it as a password generator in their personal accounts.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

Not so easy to setup domain authentication

What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?

Team uses a lot of shared accounts, this ensures we can safely store passwords and not worry too much. We also utilize the domain breach notification system.

"Great transition support & great product"
What do you like best about 1Password?

We've had a fantastic experience with 1Password, which has proven to be a significant improvement over our previous password management service. Not only does Agilebits offer an excellent product, but their team has also been incredibly supportive in assisting us with the smooth transition of our employees to their platform.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

I don't really have anything negative to say about the product so far. In addition to our team adapting to it with minimal support, we've enjoyed all of the features 1Password offers. I guess some things like 2FA are not super easy to setup but having used the product for a while, they're working hard to make it easier to use all of their features.

What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?

As a company managing a multitude of passwords, including shared credentials across different departments, prioritizing the security of these passwords is of utmost importance to us. After transitioning from our previous password management service, we conducted a thorough review of several leading password management solutions, and we are delighted with the choice we ultimately made.

"1Password implementation"
What do you like best about 1Password?

1Password is an easy to use password manager that serves a vital function in our organization. Not only does it encourage strong passwords but it also helps users not repeat the same password in multiple places. There are also a variety of Admin tools and reports that you can use to help keep your environment safe.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

The only negative I can point out is that it can be a little cumbersome to setup initially. But 1Password provides so much guidance and help, along with tools to import passwords from other password managers, that makes it an easier setup.

What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?

1Password is an important part of our Cybersecurity strategy. It helps our users to use strong passwords and not repeat the same passwords in multiple places. It also makes it easier for us to share confidential information and ensures that only certain people have access to it.

"Good Solution"
What do you like best about 1Password?

I have used 1password for years at this point, and before that, I used Bitwarden. Before that, I used LastPass, and I have to say that 1password is one of the most secure password managers available. It also has many great features, such as storing MFA or license info.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

One of the 1Passwords' greatest strengths is also one of its problems. This is their focus on security. What I mean by this is if I want to use SCIM with 1password, I need to support my own appliance in any particular cloud computing environment. or if I want to reset someone password, then that user also needs to set up MFA again and get a new Secret Key I understand why this is done as its all part of the encryption key but i wish their was some way to set this up.

What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?

1Password is solving password management for anything that does not support SSO or is too expensive to put into SSO. But this allows us to easily manage and share passwords.

"1 password to rule them all!"
What do you like best about 1Password?

1Password is great, it helps me creating unique passwords for each website and/or app account and I only need to remember 1 password. This explains the name 1Password. These days you could end up with having hundreds of passwords, I know, I've been there. Without a password program such as 1Password you end up using the same password for several websites. That sounds logic, and makes things easy to remember. But when one website is hacked then you're done... 1Password makes sure you'll never have to use one password for multiple websites.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

It comes with a subscription plan, but you can use 1Password also without subscription, you only end up with some limitations. But even with these limitations this program is still usable.

What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?

It basicly helps you with adding security. And it's also cross platforms, meaning, you can use it on your phone, tablet, desktop computer etc. It also works on Windows & Mac.

"1Password is top not in regard to security, features, and support!"
What do you like best about 1Password?

I love that it is a secure, feature-packed solution that solves a number of very specific and unique use-cases for the teams across our company.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

Nothing yet. Although it might be too early to know, so far 1Password has checked all of our many boxes for each of our use-cases.

What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?

Sharing passwords in a secure manner, but specifically, it has the ability to map more than username and password to login forms. This feature alone solves the majority of issues we have come across while managing passwords.

"Great virtual vault!"
What do you like best about 1Password?

I like that you can store your passwords or create strong ones very easily. You can organize them by category as well. You can save bank information, login information, passwords, notes, credit cards...many other items.

What do you dislike about 1Password?

So far its been great. Here and there you have to enter your master password whenever there is a google update (the browser i use) but its not a big deal. It was a little difficult to set up at first but once youre past that...it is great!

What problems is 1Password solving and how is that benefiting you?

Security. Keeps passwords save, create safe passwords and there is an extension with Google so I don't have to go in the website and copy my passwords every time.
