Plural of fax
[edit]I have a problem with the plural of "Fax".
Fax in itself is an abbreviation of facsimilie, so cannot have a plural.
Thus the plural of FAX can only be facsimilies, and not faxes.

- Actually, there is no such rule in English. Abbreviations and acronyms very often have plural forms. The plural of No. is No.’s; the plural of DWI is DWI’s, and so on. The standard plural of fax, which has become a word in its own right, is faxes. Facsimiles is the plural of facsimile. —Stephen 21:29, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
