I just now, 7 June, 2017, discovered Wikiversity, particularly the mathematics section, so when I followed the links for what I can do to help and got to Portal:Mathematics/Participate/Participants and it said something like "add your name here," I did. I haven't as of yet contributed anything at all to Wikiversity, so I don't know if that was an appropriate thing to do or not.

I retired as an engineer from what was then called the US Army Aviation and Missile Command in 2004, but before i went into engineering, I was a mathematician, taught math at Miami University in Ohio for 2 years, 1978-1980. Since my son majored in math at the University of Alabama in Huntsville post-2010, I've been doing more math myself again, at first to help him, then to refresh myself, and now, because I simply like to. Right now, I don't know if there is anything in the math section of Wikiversity that I can help with or not. I have yet to look at it much at all even. But I would like to help if I can.
