Formatting for Genius

Noted your fixes to errors in formatting. Thanks. I have been going through the work to make needed changes, but will be taking a break. I'll finish in a bit. Londonjackbooks (talk) 22:20, 22 February 2018 (UTC)

Yepp.— Mpaa (talk) 22:21, 22 February 2018 (UTC)
@Londonjackbooks: I am going to clean this up as well, Index:Fifes and Drums, Poems of America at War, Vigilantes, 1917.djvu. Let me know if you would like to do it.
Man, I'm just creating all sorts of work for you :) I'll gladly take care of it! Londonjackbooks (talk) 19:15, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
Is there an issue with the span style: line height notation at all? Londonjackbooks (talk) 19:22, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
I think the quick way-out is just to replace span with div in this case. If this is ok for you, for me it is a very quick job to do it.
If you think your method would be faster, would you mind making the replacements? If there is ever any work that needs a more manual approach—whether I worked on it or no—let me know, and I can help out! Londonjackbooks (talk) 21:04, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
I guess I should ask how one checks for lint errors without going through page by page. Londonjackbooks (talk) 19:26, 25 February 2018 (UTC)
I am trying to cleanup at least "html5-misnesting" in Page ns, but it is tough. No easy way to see which pages are involved (I run a script in pywikibot, which makes it a bit easier, otherwise the only way is via [1], which unfortunately is cluttered by 2-3 works mainly). Also no easy way to understand the issue, even if for this category 99% is due to span vs div formatting.— Mpaa (talk) 20:46, 25 February 2018 (UTC)

Lint

I went through the whole of Stops of Various Quills changing larger to larger block, but there are still at least three pages that show up as having lint issues (span: Output not from a single template). Can't figure out where the problem lies...

Londonjackbooks (talk) 15:34, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

Should be gone now. I guess a caching issue in SpecialPages.— Mpaa (talk) 23:11, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
Yup, it's gone for me. Thanks, Londonjackbooks (talk) 23:14, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

Removal of Google notices

Hello Mpaa. I recently uploaded Commons:File:Paquita; poema em XVI cantos, Bulhão Pato, 1894.djvu to Commons, but did not catch the presence of a Google notice until after upload. Do you know how to remove the notice? I also created a corresponding index over at the Portuguese Wikisource, and am not sure how removal of the notice will affect things over there. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Londonjackbooks (talk) 17:50, 2 July 2018 (UTC)

Done (I removed some extra useless pages). I think nothing will be affected in the index, except that now the file has 540 pages and not 546.— Mpaa (talk) 21:24, 2 July 2018 (UTC)
Thank you so much :) Londonjackbooks (talk) 04:12, 3 July 2018 (UTC)

VE edits

Thanks for bug filling. Did you try to reproduce it? I tried but failed.

BTW, in pl.ws we decided to block such breaking VE edits using AbuseFilter. Just an idea; unsure if your community would accept this. Ankry (talk) 16:40, 18 August 2018 (UTC)

Just tried, I can reproduce it. See https://en.wikisource.org/w/api.php?action=query&prop=revisions&titles=Page:Mahabharata%20-%20the%20epic%20of%20ancient%20India.djvu/37&rvlimit=10&rvprop=tags%7Ctimestamp%7Cuser%7Ccomment%7Ccontent .— Mpaa (talk) 16:48, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
Funny thing it is create a double header:
"*": "<noinclude><pagequality level=\"1\" user=\"\" />\n<pagequality level=\"1\" user=\"\" /></noinclude>\nTHE BRIDE'S CHOICE 23 \n\nBut once more the bow rebounded, fell the monarch in his shame, \nLeft in haste Panchaia's mansions for the region whence he came ' \nUprose S
Mpaa (talk) 17:01, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
You seem to hit another bug: double proofread header... Empty user for pagequality_level=1 was standard few years ago, so this should not break anything. Ankry (talk) 17:07, 18 August 2018 (UTC)
I can reprodice it if I Proffread, then make a change leaving as Proofread, see https://en.wikisource.org/w/api.php?action=query&prop=revisions&titles=Page:From%20Kulja,%20across%20the%20Tian%20Shan%20to%20Lob-Nor%20(1879).djvu/273&rvlimit=10&rvprop=tags%7Ctimestamp%7Cuser%7Ccomment%7Ccontent%7Cinfo .— Mpaa (talk) 17:33, 18 August 2018 (UTC)

Djvu Volume 1 and Volume 2 titles don't match

Hi and warm greetings,

These two volumes have different titles and I am asking you for help to standardize them. This title Index:The war with Mexico, vol 1.djvu the word "war" is lowercase, and in this title Index:The War with Mexico vol 2.djvu is missing the comma before the word "vol" and in both, the lowercase "vol" should be capitalized to "Vol".

Could you adjust them to be:

Index:The War with Mexico, Vol 1.djvu

Index:The War with Mexico, Vol 2.djvu

Thanks in advance. — Ineuw talk 05:22, 18 September 2018 (UTC)

Done.— Mpaa (talk) 20:30, 18 September 2018 (UTC)

I tried to clean up all of those pages. I made a mess. Thanks for assisting with the clean-up!--RaboKarbakian (talk) 20:43, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

No problem.— Mpaa (talk) 20:44, 19 December 2018 (UTC)

Pages are in reverse

Hi, Is it possible for you to move the first two pages please? The page numbers indicate the correct order. Much thanks in advance. — Ineuw talk 17:35, 21 December 2018 (UTC)
