This is the layout I would much prefer to present on the page, which I believe actually indicates some thoughtful associations and relevance to the choice of the quote as one honoring the beginning of this Year of the Monkey. That is about all I will say on the matter for now. Have already stuck around for over an hour more than I had intended to do. Will return to working on some recently created pages after I return. ~ ♞☤☮♌Kalki·†·⚓⊙☳☶⚡ 00:50, 8 February 2016 (UTC)

For most of the day I deferred to the a few people's preference towards imposing what I consider the "dumbed down" layout which not merely impedes but rigorously prevents inclusion any indications of intelligently relevant images which might actually provoke the interest of people who might wish to explore many of the associated concepts, and relevant information which are often evoked by images and symbols.
I restored the layout in the final minutes of the day to the one which I had basically devised before posting the simpler one, to stand as a record of resolve to eventually return to more complex and thoughtfully created presentations, on a regular basis, even though I do not, as yet, intend to persist in developing more than the very simplistic and constrained presentations which I recently have been doing, and which require very little time or thought on my part, which is yet still more regular involvement of time and genuine thoughtfulness than is apparent in the shallow and narrow forms of mindfulness of those who are most regularly inclined to regulate, restrain and inhibit the presentation potentials of others.
I might eventually reveal much more about why I consider this layout and others which I have done and had in mind, at times, FAR more appropriate, appealing, thoughtful and thought-provoking layouts than ANY which I have recently been constrained to do, out of deference to impulses and inclinations of others which I have repeatedly asserted I consider rather inappropriate for a wiki project, and even contemptible. I wish to make clear that I do NOT consider ANY human person absolutely contemptible, as I believe many of those who embrace many of the most generally contemptible impulses are often inclined to do, but there are MANY forms of attitudes and actions which I do consider extremely contemptible, and I am never inclined to deny that fact, though I might often subdue myself from impulses towards presenting it in ways which I know will be unwelcome to those most inclined to indulge and even promote them. Sometimes I resolve that NOT expressing honest contempt would itself be contemptible, and let loose such observations as are not easily dismissed by anyone of intelligence and integrity.
Assessing my own range of tasks and burdens I recognize that I still do not have time or inclination to contend about the issues involved so much as I would desire to, nor to currently invest much of my time in presenting MANY of the reasons I have for vigorously objecting to the efforts of those FEW most eager to seek means to absolutely CONSTRAIN and CONTROL what I and others DO in regard to presentations of ideas. I intend to eventually do so, but probably will do that only after I have completed some other tasks elsewhere which have far greater priority and urgency to me and to others, which I currently do not believe I will be sufficiently finished with prior to the end of this month. I also acknowledge that MANY things often take far longer than I am inclined to believe or how that they will, and these might be some of those.
I initially intended to say ONLY what I have already said, but after brief reflection I will say a bit more upon some of my thought processes yesterday. Though I usually have a very strong inclination to celebrate the traditional Chinese New Year, within the previous week or so, I had lost track of the time, and hadn't actually searched anything out for it, and forgetful that it was about to occur, and having looked ahead within the last day or two, I initially was inclined to quote Buber, and had already begun a very swiftly constructed layout the day before:

This was and IS an excellent quote, and perhaps might be used next year, but hopefully with a more extensive layout than the simple one I had constrained myself to, in deference to those who lack the sense of Buber, and are inclined to impose preconceived codes upon the actions of others, rather than permitting and promoting our very human willingness to explore and experience.
I realized only in the mid-morning that it was actually the last day of Year of the Wood Goat or Sheep, and that the next sunrise would be in the Year of the Fire Monkey.
Within a few hours after the sunrise, once I very suddenly realized the Year of the Monkey was about to begin, which I had been forgetful about, I rejected using the Buber statement as QOTD and instead APPLYING it, to the circumstances, shifted my inclinations.
I realized that I did not yet have in mind any specific "monkey quotes", which would be appropriate, and though thoughts of a few did soon occur to me, I began searches on the internet of ideas and soon found several which could have served well, but eventually encountered this one, which I immediately considered excellent for the start of the year of the Monkey, and thereafter found few to even come close to its appropriateness.
It is a quote from a work which invites and provokes diverse thoughts and analysis of MANY perspectives by the presentations of complexities beyond the easy and shallow and very limited assessments of those prone to extremely linear, polarized or even binary modes of thought and logic. It celebrates the potentials for many diverse and complex forms of assessments, mysteries and analysis, which I find very appropriate for this year, and for any wiki sites which seek to stimulate intellectual and ethical development and progress of appreciations of the many diverse forms of these which are occurring in the world, even amidst much confusion and the inclination of many to support or propound profoundly anti-social and extremely bigoted nonsense, as if it were a public service, or even a divine duty. I believe the most divine duties dwell within well determined social appreciation of all the diverse forms of Self, and Other, and the I-Thou relationships which profound thinkers such as Buber have promoted, and which reject all the worst of the extremely foul forms of fascism, arrogance, terrorism, tyranny and brutal bigotries which have long plagued Humanity.
Using that quote prompted me to start pages for J. J Abrams & Doug Dorst as well as their collaborative work which it is from: S. After that I had to leave and go on to doing many other things. Earlier today, while I was briefly active here, I glanced at options for the QOTD for tomorrow, and created a couple more pages inspired by having chanced upon this particular quote as a great QOTD to begin the Year of the Monkey: Ship of Theseus and Theseus. I had long intended to do a page for Theseus, but had never gotten around to it, until today. I soon hope to add at least a few more quotes to a few other pages on this ship of Theseus known as Wikiquote, within the next day or so, before I become more busy with other tasks.
This has merely been a relatively brief indication of some aspects of the thought processes which frequently occur to me in doing selections of QOTD, and has hardly touched upon the development of the layouts, and I believe it would be a cumbersome burden were I have to elaborately explain many aspects of relatively simple decisions every time I make them — something wikis were actually devised to minimize. Where many of the principles with which wikis were founded are forgotten or dismissed, or remain unrecognized, there are inclinations to rely upon many poorly developed presumptions and prefabricated constraints on many options. I have only taken the time to make these statements to indicate some of the reasons I have broken from some of my recent practices of deference to the desires of a few people which I strongly disagree with, on what I consider ultimately significant matters, though thus far to relatively tolerable extent. So it goes… ⨀∴☥☮♥∵ॐ …Blessings. ~ ♞☤☮♌Kalki·†·⚓⊙☳☶⚡ 00:45, 9 February 2016 (UTC)
