Hussein Jamil Barghouthi (Palestinian: حسين جميل برغوثي), also spelled Barghouti, ( May 5, 1954 – May 1, 2002) was a Palestinian poet, writer, essayist, critic, lyricist, playwright and philosopher, born in the village of Kobar.
