The suspected sockpuppet was created one day after Nrochluz was warned about a potential COI with huupe. After making a few dozen minor edits, Kompyoub is now beginning to edit war ([1], [2]) over a {{notability}} tag at huupe, an article that has drawn the lion's share of Nrochluz's 30 edits to Wikipedia. signed, Rosguill talk 17:41, 28 May 2024 (UTC)
- Mailer diablo, my thinking is that given the UPE-like editing that Nrochluz has been engaged in, a CU-match is sufficient evidence to justify a block of Nrochluz on suspicion of UPE. Was there a specific reason you elected not to block them? signed, Rosguill talk 13:36, 29 May 2024 (UTC)
- On second thought, seeing that the declared intent to block Kompyoub didn't go through either, and that they are now overtly vote-stacking at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Huupe, I'm just going to go ahead and block both of them. Confirmed that Nrochluz = Kompyoub. Kompyoub is now indef blocked. - Mailer Diablo 02:11, 29 May 2024 (UTC)- Closing. I think blocking was probably fair if a CU returns a result of equivalence. As a note, CUs are not generally required to issue blocks, though most do. Izno (talk) 23:12, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
