Wikipedia:Political achievements

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
There is no Cabal

During any election, politicians and their supporters will shout long and loud about their achievements in office, and also about their "achievements". There is a critical encyclopaedic difference between the two. For example:

  • Making a speech which nails the Government's corruption as Robin Cook did in 1997, is an achievement.
  • Making a speech in favour of Motherhood, Apple Pie and Fluffy Bunnies is an "achievement" and actually achieves nothing other than as a promotional tool.

Wikipedia biographies are for those with achievements, not "achievements".
