Note also there is a recently created template that goes with several of the "Republic" pages: Template:Pre-CSA states that should be a related candidate for deletion. I don't see what the template adds since the pages it is on will likely soon be gone or redirected to the stat "in the American Civil War". There is already a template on each of the state "in the American Civil War" pages that lists these states and others in the CSA so this second template only adds clutter at the bottom of the page.
