Only a single reference, and seems redundant to the more comprehensive Professional_foul#Association_football. LukeSurl t c 11:46, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

- Redirect to Glossary of association football terms. GiantSnowman 18:40, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
- Keep - this is a notable term that has come to the fore recently as a result of the 'triple punishment' debate. This is a valid stub and there are plenty of sources to meet WP:GNG available. I have added a couple already and will add more later. The Whispering Wind (talk) 19:39, 25 February 2014 (UTC)
- Comment The article has improved substantially since the nomination. --LukeSurl t c 00:08, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
- Merge to foul (association football) under a section detailing denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity (possibly incorporating text from professional foul). Hack (talk) 08:02, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
- Merge / Redirect to Professional foul, seems like an unnecessary fork as "last man" is more of a colloquial term, whereas I believe "professional foul" is the technical term. Link Last Man at Glossary of association football terms to Professional foul. Fenix down (talk) 12:15, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
- Merge any useful content into Professional foul#Association football. Agree that plenty of sources for the term are available, but we don't need two articles that cover the same ground. Had the Professional foul article not already existed, I'd have suggested renaming Last man... to Professional foul. There's too much detail IMO just to merge into the general Foul... article. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 14:36, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
- Merge content of this article and Professional_foul#Association_football to new article called Professional foul (association football). (I originally nominated this deletion, but the article has substantially changed since the nomination). --LukeSurl t c 15:06, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
- Comment - it seems to me like there is a wider Foul / Professional Foul / Last Man confusion here where there are a number of forks that appear to essentially duplicate content. Fenix down (talk) 15:17, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
- Comment - a "last man" foul could be a professional foul, a red for DOGSO or neither. Either way, there is really not enough unique content to justify a standalone article. Hack (talk) 16:17, 26 February 2014 (UTC)
