Uptodate

[edit]

Is not a very good source for Wikipedia because one cannot link to a specific version of Uptodate. Better to use review articles or statements published by major medical organizations. Best Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 23:16, 22 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Undertake the enormity of remedial work. I noticed that you removed topically-relevant content from North-south divide in Taiwan. However, Wikipedia is not censored. Please do not remove or censor information that directly relates to the subject of the article. If the content in question involves images, you have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide images that you may find offensive. Notice

The article Chang Yi (Taiwanese director) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

1. Advertising or other spam without any relevant or encyclopedic content (but not an article about an advertising-related subject) 2. Articles that cannot possibly be attributed to reliable sources, including neologisms, original theories, and conclusions. 3. Articles whose subjects fail to meet the relevant notability guideline. 4. Articles that breach Wikipedia's policy on biographies of living persons.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at Chang_Yi_(Taiwanese_director). Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Afoot post hoc (talkcontribs) 17:33, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Afoot post hoc: I am not Chang yi. This article is not my autobiography. I will improve this and add more references--Wolfch (talk) 04:02, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Afoot post hoc. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Chang_Yi_(Taiwanese_director), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Section Filmography Afoot post hoc (talk) 14:56, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, Wolfch. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Chang_Yi_(Taiwanese_director), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. It seems that you know a lot about Chang Yi as you added a lot of their work without foreknowledge from published references.

Afoot post hoc (talk) 15:10, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Afoot post hoc:. The article is not about me, my family, friends, company... There is no conflict of interest between me and this article. Except expanding the article without references, is there any data to support that I and Chang Yi have conflict of interest?--Wolfch (talk) 22:11, 3 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In this SPI report you filed last year, the month name in the header was given as "Jul" instead of "July".
