Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Dravidar Kazhagam, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. SUN EYE 1 15:20, 25 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary Sanctions Notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Tamil Brahmin ‎. Next edit summary like that one gets you reported for a block. Meters (talk) 18:19, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

wikipedia is shit. Clearly someone with an agenda has included an intention misinformation. And the citing they have provided isn't reliable and valid. And I am being banned for trying to change this. VENUvg007 (talk) 09:38, 26 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe you should read what I actually wrote. I'll ask for a block the next time you leave an offensive edit summary like that. Meters (talk) 05:15, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can go ahead blocking me. Wikipedia is crap source of information anyways. I have cross checked the book cited claiming tholkappiyar is brahmin in 'notable people' section. The book nowhere mentions he was a brahmin but rather only says tholkappiyam is pre Aryan literature. It's a baseless misinformation. I don't know who you are or where you are from, but if the misinformation suits your agenda, so be it. VENUvg007 (talk) 02:39, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Enough. This has been explained to you. Get consensus on the talk page for your change or leave it alone. Politely make your case on the talk page and maybe other editors will agree. Making personal attacks (accusing editors of having agendas or intentionally supporting misinformation) and uncivil edit summaries such as your "evil cunts" is not helping. Keep it up and I'll ask for a block. Meters (talk) 03:02, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
