Re: Ford Taurus

[edit]

The fourth-generation Taurus was produced through the 2007 model year, and the fifth-generation model has been announced and will start production for 2008. So, the production is 1986-present. I put the standard notice on your IP talk because it's hard to tell if an edit is intentional sneaky vandalism or if it's just an honest mistake. Looks like just a mistake in this case, I'll remove the notice. --Sable232 04:56, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

April 2008

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Barack Obama. When removing text or images, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the image has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 19:07, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

{{helpme}}
<tunafizzle> !helper
<tunafizzle> I've come across quite a mess spanning a good few pages regarding what the first, second, and third gulf wars are; one of the pages is semi-protected as well
<tunafizzle> wiki/first_gulf_war redirects incorrectly, the opening of the page even contradictorily refers to it as both the first and second gulf war in the opening
<tunafizzle> wiki/Second_Gulf_War is a disambig showing the problem
<tunafizzle> and iraq war is protected page with a very weak source

alot of the citations for the "first, second, third gulf war" are somewhat weak. This implies a rather Americanized view of international relations, lacking in nuetrality. I have enough citations to cover this; i just need help making the edits --Tunafizzle (talk) 07:00, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That IRC channel is not logged. I'm sorry if you found a time when nobody was around; that is unusual.
I'm not clear on the kind of help you want, but I encourage you to be bold and change things, as long as you have good references. Consider using your userspace to draft things. You can edit semiprotected pages yourself. If you need to edit a protected page, just say exactly what needs changing (with references) on the talk page of the article, and put {{editprotected}}. Please read WP:BRD - the idea of 'bold, revert, discuss' - which is recommended in such situations. If you need specific help (as in, 'how do I edit THIS or add THAT, move THIS, disambiguate THAT) then please do use another {{helpme}}. If you want a draft checking, try WP:FEED. If you wish to discuss plans for a change, to see if others agree, I suggest that you start the discussion on the discussion page of the relevant article, and perhaps ask for input on the talk pages of related project groups, such as Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Iraq etc. To find other related projects, see the talk page of the articles - for example, Talk:Iraq lists WikiProject Arab world, WikiProject Assyria, WikiProject Western Asia, etc. - feel free to ask for input on the talk pages of any related projects. Best of luck,  Chzz  ►  07:12, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Darrell Issa, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mercedes (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

ArbCom 2018 election voter message

[edit]

Hello, Tunafizzle. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
