Inappropriate emphasis on shooting incidents

[edit]

I recommend that your consider branching out to other topics. A single focus on violent incidents has not proven to be compatible with the interests of the encyclopedia. Frankly, it's just creepy. Acroterion (talk) 03:02, 21 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Edits like these tend to be regarded as tasteless.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 08:22, 23 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Ejike Uzoenyi article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 17:47, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, giant snowman. I appreciate your concern for me spreading false information and you may think that when I said that ‘he received the best player award in the 2016 African Nations Championship’, I didn’t have a source. I got this from the page ‘2016 African Nations Championship’ w when the chart said the best player award for the tournament was Ejike Uzoenyi. That’s where I found my source that this footballer got the award.
Thank you for your concern of people spreading false information though. TheWikiGuy1000 (talk) 18:15, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Oh I am sorry! I mistook the player and the tournament (2016 CHAN)! Thank you so much for fixing it! I meant to put Elia Meschak ( information from google and CAFonline.com). Thank you for the correction. TheWikiGuy1000 (talk) 05:08, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on 2038 FIFA World Cup requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Paul Pogba, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Doping. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
