Empire State University

[edit]

Hi StarSpangledKiwi. It's no big deal, but I'm confused as to why you reverted my edit to Empire State University (fictional). [1] I had thought that it would be more useful to specify the appropriate notability guideline (in this case, fiction) than to point to the generic guideline. Am I missing something? --GentlemanGhost (talk) 02:07, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Destiny

[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Destiny (Marvel Comics), you will be blocked from editing. Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 19:33, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The two Destinies have nothing to do with one another aside from being Marvel Comics characters and you had no business merging them. It has been discussed before and this is the second time someone has reverted the change. If you will see from the discussion, the consensus was that they belong on different pages. --Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 19:33, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. However, they were separated fairly recently. I wasn't even on Wikipedia two years ago and I voted for it. I was the one who added the personification. I'll go fix The Destine page.--Scottandrewhutchins (talk) 20:07, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tower Insurance

[edit]

Do you work for Tower since we are have the same IP address at the mo. StarSpangledKiwi (talk) 19:51, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, I do not. Don't know how we ended up with the same IP address. 204.153.84.10 (talk) 19:55, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what you meant by "Eventually, the Canadian government disbanded and Hume returned to England," but I doubt you meant that statement the way it sounds.  :) 204.153.84.10 (talk) 16:36, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comics Articles for Deletion

[edit]

One or more articles you’ve been involved in editing (Melter, Ringer (comics), Ego the Living Planet, or others including Marlene Alraune) has been nominated for deletion. If you feel you can make contributions to the article to improve it and make it worth keeping, please do so. BOZ (talk) 16:01, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An article you've been involved in editing, Crimson Daffodil has been nominated for deletion. If you feel you can make contributions to the article to improve it and make it worth keeping, please do so. BOZ (talk) 14:30, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, Mathemanic is up for deletion, if you can do anything to help that one. BOZ (talk) 00:24, 26 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deviants

[edit]

FYI, I see you've been fixing up lists of comics characters - Deviant (comics) has a big list of Deviants that you might want to work your way towards eventually. :) 207.229.140.148 (talk) 02:11, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, Attilan has a huge list of Inhumans - not entirely sure why, probably needs a separate list page since there are so many. :) (Except for the fact that there'd be little left on the page, I guess!) 207.229.140.148 (talk) 02:32, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nice work, by the way! You may also want to check out Kree#Notable Kree at some point. 207.229.140.148 (talk) 23:52, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If I spot any more articles with character lists, I sure will let you know! You've done excellent work sourcing and expanding them. 207.229.140.148 (talk) 00:50, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent as always! :) I guess it wouldn't surprise you that there is also Skrull#Notable Skrulls, Homo mermanus#Known Atlanteans, or Vampire (Marvel Comics)#Known Vampires would it? :) 207.229.140.148 (talk) 04:30, 28 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Bran Bardic

[edit]

Can you direct me to where inOfficial Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z Hardcover #2 where it mention Bran Bardic cus for the life of me i cant find it. Im looking in the second issue "Benny Beckley to Crazy Eight". --- Paulley (talk) 19:08, 5 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you StarSpangledKiwi, that'll help loads.. we are really trying to have a complete clean over of the Corps and some of its related articles and this will be extremely helpful.. now i just gotta see if i can get a hold of it somewhere. Thanks again. --- Paulley (talk) 20:37, 6 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Im having difficulty getting hold of a copy of the book... could you do me a favor and move up and Captain that it notes in the entry as being former from the unconfirmed list to the former list... if you move them the way they are i will get back and put them in the table. Anyway thanxs in advanced. --- Paulley (talk) 20:39, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
oooh thanxs, i take it that this handbook set after the end of X-Men: Die By The Sword as Albion's on the list. However, 616 Brian Braddock stated in CB & MI: 13 #1 that he is no long part of any Corps. So i guess that's a mistake on Marvel's part. Anyway thanxs for the list, it a good base to work with til their next appearance. We will look into any additional notes later no rush im sure we can condense and reword them easily enough. --- Paulley (talk) 15:57, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of What to Do?

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article What to Do?, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. justinfr (talk/contribs) 13:44, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your uploads. You've indicated that the following images are being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why they meet Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page an image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --14:34, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
