Japanese conquest of Burma
[edit]I regret that I have had to delete your recently added paragraph from the lead/lede. Firstly, it covers a timeline beginning in May 1942, after the conquest was essentially complete, and does so in the pluperfect tense, suggesting events before the conquest. It introduces topics and viewpoints not discussed anywhere in the main body of the article, and appears to do so from a US-centric point of view.
If you consider the paragraph should be added again, as part of a new "Aftermath" section for example, after some reworking, I would not quibble with that. HLGallon (talk) 09:19, 2 December 2016 (UTC)
