Good spot on User:Martin Cold Mans! I patrolled that page a while back and added it to my watchlist for some reason, seriously well done on spotting that! Samuel Tarling (talk) 19:30, 14 August 2015 (UTC) |
edit block suggestion
[edit]Dear Wildthing, The persistent vandals at 161.97.140.43 have blanked a section at Charybdis after your final warning on their talk page. Please block them, they seem to have learned nothing from a previous 12 month suspension. Mzilikazi1939 (talk) 19:23, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
- I'd love to help, however I'm not an admin with the ability to do so. If they keep it up, you can report them to WP:AIV and they admins can handle it from there. Wildthing61476 (talk) 19:45, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
- By he way, already been done, the IP is blocked 3 years by one of the admins. Wildthing61476 (talk) 19:46, 8 October 2015 (UTC)
Just noticed, it happened after I contacted you, I think. That's good, and thanks for responding. Mzilikazi1939 (talk) 20:32, 8 October 2015 (UTC)

- You've failed to make the changes or add the necessary references to show how they meet WP:GNG. Please be sure you have this ready to go before publishing the article again. Wildthing61476 (talk) 13:11, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Wildthing61476: Can you please help me with the article. Kingsamhippy (talk) 13:17, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
- What I would first recommend is to review WP:GNG and see if they meet the requirements on the page there. If you have sources to show that, great then add them to the article! You can cite sources using the <ref></ref> tags. Wildthing61476 (talk) 13:20, 14 October 2015 (UTC)
- @Wildthing61476: thank you for ur help also do you know why my user name red?

[edit]My user name red do you know why? Kingsamhippy (talk) 00:23, 15 October 2015 (UTC)
- Sure thing, that means you've never edited your User page. Once you edit that page it becomes a blue link. Wildthing61476 (talk) 01:05, 15 October 2015 (UTC)

Nollywood?
[edit]Hello,
Thank You for all your help. Cant we move Nollywood to Nigerain Film Industry (as it can no longer be called that and also the people of the industry themselves have stopped using the word) and place a message on nollywood brand's page that for the article about Nigerian film industry go here. If you doubt the notability of the brand to be listed on wikipedia, then I can send links of several A grade media company articles discussing the terms acquisation. Please do tell me your views. Thank You. Looking forward to hearing from you. RahlikBrasson (talk) 15:47, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
- That might be the way to go regarding this issue, though this would possibly be something to discuss on the talk page of the Nollywood article to get community input. Wildthing61476 (talk) 15:49, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
Hey, stranger
[edit]Well, saw you on the list of candidates and was like "Whoa, haven't seen that name in ages!" Didn't know you were still around, and don't even know how much you still remember of me, but regardless, it's good to see you're still alive and kicking! truth about tm
[edit]Please once in the history of this ridicules world leave the truth out... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thelosbellos (talk • contribs) 18:42, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
- The article is an attack page and can be seen as vandalism. If you believe that there is a mistruth about TM, I would suggest creating a comment on the talk page regarding this to see if it would be added to the page as a discussion point. Mind you, you will need to have reliable sources to back up your claim, as this is a strong claim to make. Wildthing61476 (talk) 18:50, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
hej, its not abot your viewpont its about the reality. If you think we do this because we believe in it, than its an other point. I know it, many other people know it, and most importantly people must know it! Otherwise they will be just like any other victim of theirs falling into it and ending up in mental hospital or worse. Why dont you check the links etc? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thelosbellos (talk • contribs) 18:59, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
- Again I have, and this is original research/rant. You need to have sources that can validate what you are saying, plus the piece is written as an attack piece. Wildthing61476 (talk) 19:01, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
Wait a second. After one minute you attacked the page, you didnt even read it through and checked the links am I right? Its not humanly possible! Please read it trough and check the links, Thanks, after please tell what think! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thelosbellos (talk • contribs) 19:03, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
- Linking to blogs and "debunking" sites are not reliable sources. Again, these need to be in the page. Wildthing61476 (talk) 19:08, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
The GERMAN HIGHEST COURT is not a blog (http://www.servat.unibe.ch/dfr/vw082076.html), the united states disease control center is not a blog please! What is wrong??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thelosbellos (talk • contribs) 19:14, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
- Neither one of those links have anything to do with TM however. They have to do with medicine, and remedies but not TM. The article is an attack piece, period. Comments such as "He molested Mia Forrow and messed with members of the band. - "I kill you bastard!" - said mahesh." are clearly meant to attack.
Its about transcendtal meditation organization and not just transcendental meditation. that he did with mia forrow its a common knowledge, its not an attack, but an information about those who founded tm movement., BTW he was molesting kids and there is a link to us court case to, that fist better and that is not an attack in your view? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thelosbellos (talk • contribs) 19:22, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
- Another thin you have to realize about creating article on Wikipedia is WP:NPOV. This is clearly not from a neutral point of view at all. Wildthing61476 (talk) 19:24, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
The use of the words are not vandal level at least, and to describe the truth saying its a very negative thing, might not represent the true value of that. for example saying extremely negative thing happened, or saying rape... The whole thing is described as researched and observed this is the truth about it. Many people needs this knowledge to understand this. This is not some conspiracy story but the truth. But you know what let it be I will update with more link and name them so not just numbers at first then I relaunch, is that okay with you? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thelosbellos (talk • contribs) 19:32, 17 November 2015 (UTC)
- The entire article needs to be written from a neutral point of view to begin with. Calling the article "the truth" about TM also seems similar to WP:TRUTH. At this point it's best if the article is deleted, as this look and appears to be more of a blog post than an encyclopediac article. Wildthing61476 (talk) 19:35, 17 November 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hello sorry for my page it's a joke how do I delete it XxDylangodxX (talk) 21:45, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
- No problem, the tag on the page right now is a speedy deletion tag. It notifies the admins that the page doesn't meet Wikipedia's standards, or as you said you wanted to delete it. Just leave the page as is and an admin will remove it soon. Wildthing61476 (talk) 21:46, 19 November 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. ArbCom Elections
[edit]With the voting now complete, I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their comments, both in support and opposition of my candidacy for ArbCom. Reading through the voter guides that were provided, I saw comments that I will use to better my editing, and my role as an editor on Wikipedia in the future. Also, to those who asked questions of me during the election, I hope that the answers I gave better explained my thought processes and how I would play a role on ArbCom. If the results show I'm elected, then I will do my part to serve as best I can on ArbCom for the betterment of Wikipedia. If I'm not elected, then I will simply continue what I do here, help try to make Wikipedia a better place edit by edit. Wildthing61476 (talk) 19:08, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
- Good luck! -- samtar whisper 19:19, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
- Well at least I didn't finish last. And 60% of the voters were neutral about me, so I got that goin' for me, which is nice. One more thing, 403 editors supported me. That honestly in itself is a shock. Thank you to all who did vote to support me. Wildthing61476 (talk) 19:23, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
I undid the Robbin' Knowledge changes, suggesting that per WP:BRD the discussion should move to talk. Could you start the discussion on what you think the issues with the edits were? I don't particularly feel one way or the other, simply that with such a major change, a discussion is worthwhile. Regards, Tarl.Neustaedter (talk) 00:55, 11 December 2015 (UTC)
- Actually, that was a mistake on my part that I realized I had did. When clicking on the window, I must have inadvertently clicked "rollback", and reverted the edit. I had switched to another page and never realized I did that, until I checked my recent edits. My deepest apologies for that. RickinBaltimore (talk) 14:50, 14 December 2015 (UTC)
