Need Help in WP:PBUH
[edit]Hi bro,
I need your help removing terrorism section from WP:PBUH.
I removed it citing reason why it should be removed but CambridgeBayWeather put it back in.
If you can please go to that page and remove that section by reverting the change done by CambridgeBayWeather.
It will establish a consensus that more than one person think that it should be removed.
I also tried to talk it out with CambridgeBayWeather on his talk page and you can see my post there as well.

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Ghazi Shaheed, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Kâzım Pasha and Kazim Pasha (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Your contributed article, Iran–Pakistan trade relations
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Iran–Pakistan trade relations. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Iran–Pakistan relations. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Iran–Pakistan relations – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.
If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Rushbugled13 (talk) 23:41, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Hello, PeerBaba. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Pakistan–Iran Preferential Trade Agreement, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:
- edit the page
- remove the text that looks like this:

- save the page
Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, - Jorgath (talk) (contribs) 12:52, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

Threat matrix
[edit]Great article. I've made a few edits and may make some more as time allows me. By the way, I've been thinking over this for a long time, we should have an article on Geostrategy in Pakistan too which discusses Pakistan's geopolitics and its strategic location - like the Geostrategy in Central Asia article. The article could cover some very interesting topics, such as how the Soviet Union was allegedly interested in Pakistan because of its strategic location during the Afghan occupation, and other topics like the country's important location in the context of the War on Terror (i.e. NATO and other routes pass through Pakistan to enter landlocked Afghanistan), Pakistan's proximity to Central Asian countries, the strategic importance of the mountains in northern and northwest Pakistan, Balochistan's natural resources and close location to the Persian Gulf and Middle East, Sindh's historically important location as a gateway for many foreign empires that entered the subcontinent, Kashmir's geostrategic location, and also how the Chinese today see Pakistan as the best route to access Arabian sea through Gwadar, the Silk Road etc. I think I will go and on, but this is an interesting topic nevertheless. If you are interested, we can work together on creating such an article some time in the future. Regards, Mar4d (talk) 13:02, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Nazeer Hussain University
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Nazeer Hussain University requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://www.nhu.edu.pk/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of Talk:Astronomy and Astrophysics program of SUPARCO
[edit]The article Talk:Astronomy and Astrophysics program of SUPARCO has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- There is nothing new that is already not mentioned in the article Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission. References given are to a bulletin and nothing of the sort is mentioned in those links as this article. If anything some of the information from this page might be added in the original SUPARCO article, thats all. No need for this separate article for a supposed program of SUPARCO when there is a whole article on the comission itself
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sohebbasharat (talk) 13:40, 21 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi, and welcome to Wikipedia. I'm from WikiProject Pakistan. We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of Pakistan.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- You can give your input at project's main discussion page and keep it on your watchlist: Wikipedia talk:Notice board for Pakistan-related topics.
- You can !vote and work on saving articles that are up for deletion at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Pakistan.
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every Pakistan article in Wikipedia.
- Can you code? The automation department uses automated and semi-automated methods to perform batch tasks that would be tedious to do manually.
- Please participate in any of our descendant workgroups that might interest you.
- Add your name in the members at Wikipedia:WikiProject Pakistan/Members. There's also a user box template which you can put on your user page to identify yourself as a member: User WikiProject Pakistan

[edit]Edit summaries
[edit]Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! 220 of Borg 11:47, 14 June 2015 (UTC)
Edit summaries 2
[edit]Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. Thanks! 220 of Borg 09:56, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit to Chagai-I, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. 220 of Borg 12:20, 17 June 2015 (UTC)
Edit warring
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Chagai-I. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a loss of editing privileges.
Your edit here has reverted an edit I have done twice now to correct the quotes to read as 'per the source'. If you continue doing this, especially without explanation, I may have to take this up with Wikipedia Administrators. 220 of Borg 07:25, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
Introducing errors
[edit]Your edit to Chagai-I here, introduces/changes information that is not supported by the cited source here. You are also re-adding excessive links.
- Source: "... PAEC had no plans to develop a hydrogen device... "
- Edit: " ... PAEC had no plans to develop a hydrogen device ..." Re-adding a link to Hydrogen bomb that re-directs to Thermonuclear weapon which is already linked in the same sentence! And re-linking to Ishfaq Ahmad, who is already linked four (4) other times on the page!
- Source: "Pakistan has had a nuclear capability since 1984 ... "
- Edit: "Pakistan has had a nuclear capability since 1983 ... " (incorrect year, if you have a better source, you need to have it before you change the cited information, wp:VERIFIABILITY)
- Source: "All boosted fission devices using uranium 235"
- Edit: "All boosted-fission devices uses U235 (Arguable, but that is not how the source shows it. Boosted fission weapon is linked to in the immediately proceeding paragraph. wp:OVERLINK. Source says "using" not "uses". Why change it?)
- Source: "These boosted devices are like a half way stage towards a thermonuclear bomb. ..."
- Edit: "These boosted-fission devices are like a half way stage towards a thermonuclear bomb. ..." (Source does not say "-fission", Why are you changing it?)
Your grammar needs work too:
- Original: "The program accelerated when India eventually surprised the world with its first nuclear test (Smiling Buddha) in 1974"
- Your edit: [1] "The program accelerated when India eventually surprising the world with its first nuclear test in 1974"
- Surprising is the wrong word to use. If you change it more, then it is correct.
- "The program accelerated with India eventually surprising the world with its first nuclear test in 1974"
I have assumed good faith (WP:AGF) on your part, but that is quickly fading.
- You have not bothered to reply to my messages, you have not taken my advice on normal WP practises,
- You have not explained your reverts back to incorrect information, whereas I have explained my edits in detail.
- You continue to needlessly 'hide' links behind acronyms, like here twice! This is not normal WP practise.
I particularly loose AGF when I see 'Anonymous' users (IP editors) reverting back to the version you prefer, and displaying similar editing behaviours. Like here. Be advised that editing while logged out to revert other editors is considered to be wp:Sock puppetry. (Not accusing you, but it is suspicious, plus that the several IPs involved are all from the same state.)
Can you have the courtesy to at least acknowledge my comments here? Wikipedia (WP) is not a place where you can edit 'in a vacuum', ignoring everyone else. Editors need to work together, within the rules and guidelines of WP. I've only been editing since 2009 (before I had a WP account), what would I know?
None of the above means I won't revert you when your edits add or alter information (such as the quotes mentioned) that are not supported by a reliable source. I am basically required to do so. 220 of Borg 09:33, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
I have asked some questions about WP policy, related to your use of quotations, at the Teahouse.
The discussion is at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions#Normal WP practise regarding quotations", (Perma link).
I strongly suggest you take part, and read the information and comments there, as your alteration of what is said in the quotations is not per WP guidelins and practises. See MOS:QUOTE in particular. 220 of Borg 13:27, 18 June 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Adding incorrect information
[edit] Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Chagai-I. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox.
Twice now you have altered sourced quotes so that they do not say what the source says. Per this edit. 220 of Borg 17:42, 18 June 2015 (UTC)
Not logging in
[edit]Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Chagai-I while logged out. Making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of more than one account or IP address by one person. If this was not your intention, then please always remember to log in when editing. Thank you. - 220 of Borg 10:46, 24 June 2015 (UTC)
PeerBaba,
Per your edit here, it is only your opinion that:
- "... Its significant on describing the blast effect. It should not have removed in the first place.)"
Despite the edited caption you are insisting on displaying poor grammar:
- "Snowy mountains raised above as the chain reaction took place."
whereas:
- "Snow displaced from the mountainside by the nuclear explosion"
clearly and simply describes what is happening in the picture.
If I haven't already pointed this out to you please see Ownership. In any WP:Content disputes, which this particular edit certainly is, you are expected to discuss it at Talk:Chagai-I, and not engage in edit warring over it. Please also make yourself more familiar with the WP:Manual of Style (WP:MOS) which determines the 'look' of WP pages, or at very least guides how many things are done on WP. Regards, 220 of Borg 05:25, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
Misleading edit summary
[edit] Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Pakistan and weapons of mass destruction has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. Please use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did, and feel free to use the sandbox for any tests you may want to do. The related edit is here on 23 June 2015.
Your summary says:
- "No changes. Just remove the inconsistent citations. All are valid sources. Please check if you have to,"
but you added +4,485 bytes, because you made large edits to the text. You did not "Just remove the inconsistent citations". 220 of Borg 19:52, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

The article Ubaidur Rahman has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no reliable references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Unhelpful page moves
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Human rights in Bangladesh, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. I've asked at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests that the article be returned to its title before your moves. --Worldbruce (talk) 18:31, 9 January 2017 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Vital Sign Promotion Picture.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Vital Sign Promotion Picture.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:18, 23 March 2017 (UTC)

Verifiability; Rp
[edit]Wikipedia values accuracy, but it requires verifiability. Prisoners of war during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 said 90,000 POWs because that's what the cited source says. Changing content without citing a source for the change violates verifiability, violates neutral point of view by not taking the cited source's view into account or explaining why it is either not a significant view or not a reliable sources for the view, and deceives the reader by making it appear that the changed figure came from the cited source when it did not. You are welcome to change the number of POWs to a range, but please cite a reliable source or sources for it.
You are misplacing the reference page(s) template rp. It should always be placed after the reference, so that it produces the output "[source#]:page#". See Help:References and page numbers. Placing it on the wrong side of the reference cause problems when text is refactored because other editors expect the page number to refer to the reference to its left, not the one to its right, so they will move the page number along with a reference that you did not mean to associate it with. I've fixed it in the POW article, but please fix it anywhere else you may have made the same mistake.
As the POW article stands today, it doesn't touch on torture or human rights in Bangladesh, so I've removed those categories. --Worldbruce (talk) 05:47, 8 July 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Prime Minister Mohammad Khan Junejo.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Prime Minister Mohammad Khan Junejo.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the Non-free fair use tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Whpq (talk) 13:41, 24 July 2017 (UTC)

How to properly show page citations in body of article
[edit]Mr. Baba, it appears that you have an incorrect perception of the sensible way of citing pages for sources in the body of an article. The intention of using an "rp" template to display page numbers is that the page number should append to a named reference, and not appear ahead of it. You have been advised within the past 30 days that you were misusing the template, which should have spurred you to investigate the proper use of the template on WP (which see at helpful link below). This template misuse becomes a problem when several citation numbers follow an assertion in an article. The colon followed by the page number may appear to be pertinent to the preceding numbered source, rather than the source for which it is in fact pertinent. It especially confuses readers who have previously seen "rp" templates used correctly.
Example:
...enjoying the support from Muhammad Ali Jinnah over this issue.: 342 [1][2]: 140 [3]: 290–291 [4]
This is a matter of common courtesy to the reader, not to mention the need for Wikipedia to have a consistent and clean format, being that it is a widely read worldwide encyclopedia. You are placing the template for the page number before the citation, when correct use dictates that it should appear after the citation.
Here is the correct procedure for using the "rp" template: Help:References and page numbers.
You have made this error no fewer than 7 times in the lead of the article Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy, and numerous times more in the body of the same article. I am asking you, as the person who has used this template, to please reposition the "rp" templates, since other editors should not be required to slog through articles which you have edited, correcting this editing error which you have already been advised about. I also ask that you please avoid misusing the template in your future editing. Thank you for your cooperation.--Quisqualis (talk) 00:41, 3 February 2018 (UTC)

Sockpuppet investigation
[edit]Hi. An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/PeerBaba, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.
Saqib (talk) 13:49, 20 June 2018 (UTC)
The article Maria Sultan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Nothing notable done by the subject, simply a defense analyst
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jibran1998 (talk) 17:19, 22 June 2018 (UTC)

[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have recently shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Camp Gwadar moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Camp Gwadar, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Orphaned non-free image File:Capt. Muhammad Sarwar.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Capt. Muhammad Sarwar.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:34, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
The article Syed Tauqir Hussain Naqvi has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Munir Ahmad Khan does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! 220 of Borg 08:13, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
Over-linking
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In your recent edit/s to Munir Ahmad Khan, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking.
You are doing exactly the same gross over-linking that you were doing in June 2015. Why? And almost never with an explaining edit summary. 220 of Borg 08:33, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
Unnecessary piping
[edit]Please explain the point of changing the syntax of a working link Low enriched uranium,
From Low enriched uranium to this Piped link low enriched uranium as you did here
- low enriched uranium, all lower case letters, on its own, works too, so adding the piping is a wasted edit, IMHO.
Could you have the simple courtesy of explaining? 220 of Borg 09:02, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
June 2020
[edit]Edit warring
[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Munir Ahmad Khan; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.
One of many such edits is here. You did it without an edit summary and have apparently ignored my templated and personal messages on your talk-page. This is also what you did back in June 2015 on Chagai-I. 220 of Borg 09:38, 12 June 2020 (UTC)
Misleading edit summary
[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Munir Ahmad Khan has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. (End of templated notice.) - 220 of Borg 04:29, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
A rare edit summary, but you said "no changes" when you did make changes. See here
• changed the 'Use ???? English' language template back from 'British' to 'American',
• changed some text in the lede,
• changed some links in the lede, including adding unnecessary WP:Piping.
I would be much more accepting of what you are doing IF you would use an informative edit summary for the majority of your edits, or answered when I question what you are doing. WP is a collaborative project, but you are not editing in a collaborative manner. Instead, you are displaying WP:Ownership, which I feel is WP:Disruptive.
Please communicate. Regards, 220 of Borg 04:29, 13 June 2020 (UTC)
June 2020
[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Munir Ahmad Khan. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges.

Comment re above notice
[edit] You are constantly reverting to un-grammatical usage of English. The relevant edit for this event is here.
I have explained my edits in detail, especially in my edit summaries, which you very rarely use, but also on your talk-page, however you have apparently ignored my advice and continued to return this page, as you have others, to your preferred, un-grammatical versions. Please have the courtesy of communicating about this issue in some form. 220 of Borg 08:18, 16 June 2020 (UTC)
Large deletion, no summary??
[edit]Re. Munir Ahmad Khan
I know, that you know, how to do edit summaries, so it's totally unbelievable to me that you'll give a very average edit summary for an average copyedit, here
but then delete a pile of text with no reason given as you did here. You are expected to say why you do an edit like that. It also created a red Cite error in the 'References' list because you deleted a source in use, that then required a Bot to repair it, here.
- Your "Changed the wording. edit added 126 bytes and changed this rather hard to understand text, which I had tagged because it didn't make sense:
- "In 1976–77, Khan engaged the CEA for abiding[clarification needed] the construction of the Chashma Nuclear Power Plant but the CEA left the project with PAEC taking control of the entire project, and later bringing China's role in the power grid connection of the nuclear power plant with nation's energy system[clarify].' "
into,
- " In 1973–77, Khan entered in negotiation with CEA for Chashma Nuclear Power Plant, having advised the MoE to sign the [[IAEA safeguards|IAEA safeguard] ] agreement with France to ensure the foreign funding of the plant, which the PAEC was designing but the CEA left the project with PAEC taking control of the entire project despite Khan's urging to French CEA to fulfill its contractual obligations. With France's offing, Khan eventually negotiated with China over this project's foreign funding in 1985–86. "
Too long, it's largely one loooong sentence. Your usage of "the" is IMHO opinion, incorrect, you use it where is not needed, and leave it out where it should be. "The" is, IMHO as a native English speaker of 50+ years experience, not needed before most acronyms like "CEA", though this seems to need deciding on a case-by-case basis. "Offing" is not the right word, in British or American English. You are unecessarily repetitive, "the project", "the project". You are using WP:Piped links for no obvious reason or advantage.
Try this: (additions in 'bold, deletions struck through)
- In 1973–77, Khan entered into negotiation with CEA for Chashma Nuclear Power Plant, having advised the MoE to sign the [[IAEA safeguards
|IAEA safeguards]] agreement with France to ensuretheforeign funding of the plant, whichthePAEC was designing, buttheCEA left the project with PAEC taking controlof the entire profect, despite Khan'surgingFrenchCEA to fulfill its contractual obligations. With France'soffingexit, Khan eventually negotiated with China overthisthe project's foreign funding in 1985–86.
Giving the more compact, and shorter:
- In 1973–77, Khan entered into negotiation with CEA for Chashma Nuclear Power Plant, having advised the MoE to sign the IAEA safeguards agreement with France to ensure foreign funding of the plant, which PAEC was designing, but CEA left the project with PAEC taking control despite Khan urging CEA to fulfill its contractual obligations. With France's exit, Khan eventually negotiated with China over the project's foreign funding in 1985–86.
Or, breaking up the sentences more:
- In 1973–77, Khan entered
innegotiations with CEA for Chashma Nuclear Power Plant, having advised the MoE to sign the IAEA safeguards agreement with France to ensuretheforeign funding of the plant, whichthePAEC was designing buttheCEA left the project with PAEC taking control. [of the entire project] This was despite Khan'surgingto FrenchCEA to fulfill its contractual obligations. With France's offing, exit,' Khan eventually negotiated with China overthisthe project's foreign funding in 1985–86.
Resulting in, 3 sentences, long, short, short; instead of 1 long one, and a 'short'er one:
- In 1973–77, Khan entered negotiations with CEA for Chashma Nuclear Power Plant, having advised the MoE to sign the IAEA safeguards agreement with France to ensure foreign funding of the plant, which PAEC was designing but the CEA left the project with PAEC taking control. This was despite Khan's urging CEA to fulfill its contractual obligations. With France's exit, Khan eventually negotiated with China over the project's foreign funding in 1985–86.
Or, 4 short/er sentences:
- In 1973–77, Khan entered negotiations with CEA for Chashma Nuclear Power Plant, having advised the MoE to sign the IAEA safeguards agreement with France to ensure foreign funding of the plant. PAEC was designing it but CEA left the project with PAEC taking full control. This was despite Khan's urging for CEA to fulfill its contractual obligations. With France's exit, Khan later negotiated with China over the project's foreign funding in 1985–86.
Or another version with 3 sentences again, short, long/er, short:
- In 1973–77, Khan entered negotiations with CEA for Chashma Nuclear Power Plant, having advised the MoE to sign the IAEA safeguards agreement with France to ensure foreign funding of the plant. PAEC was designing it but CEA left the project with PAEC taking full control, despite Khan's urging for CEA to fulfill its contractual obligations. With France's exit, Khan later negotiated with China over the project's foreign funding in 1985–86.
Please take some notice of what I said here, it took me hours to write.

[edit] Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Abdul Qadeer Khan while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing.

Grammar, unnecessary link piping etc, etc
[edit]This may be the last time I bother to explain this, or any, issue to you, BECAUSE I THINK YOU DON'T BOTHER TO LISTEN. You were making exactly the same types of disruptive edits 5 YEARS AGO at Chagai-I. Therefore I am apparently wasting my time.
English?
[edit]• If you don't reply here, as you usually don't, because you can't understand what I am writing, then I seriously think your understanding of written English is NOT good enough to edit on the English language Wikipedia.
• Consider that EVERY time, EVERY time I checked any of your edits, I have found:
- bad grammar,
- use of wrong words,
- capitalisation errors,
- massive over-linking,
- Links that go to an incorrect page, like Rocky Mountains , in the USA, when writing about mountains in Pakistan!!
- linking of common words,
- Links that go to unexpected pages (see WP:EASTEREGG), and
- unnecessary piping of links. (You 'pipe' almost EVERY link!!!)
These issues have continued, even AFTER I have left messages, MANY messages, here, and on article talk pages.
Editing
[edit]The edit you performed here was mostly a waste of time as the sentence still DIDN'T make sense when you finished
- "… Khan published papers on analytical mechanics of balancing of rotating masses, thermodynamics and the mathematical rigorous to compete, but still failed to impress his fellow theorists at PAEC, generally in the physics community.
- Do you mean?
- Additions in bold:
- "… Khan published papers on the analytical mechanics of balancing of rotating masses, thermodynamics and with the mathematical rigor
ousto compete, but still failed to impress his fellow theorists at PAEC, and generally in the physics community."?
The 'original' sentence, partly my work, mainly trying to make sense out of vague, un-grammatical writing said:
For context:
- "… Abdul Qadeer Khan is a showman." During the timeline of the bomb project, … ", (continuing):
- "… Qadeer Khan pushed his research into mathematically rigorous calculations in theoretical physics and topics to compete, but still failed to impress his fellow theorists at PAEC, generally in the physics community."
Which should have been (my error):
- "… Qadeer Khan pushed his research into mathematically rigorous calculations in theoretical physics and topics to compete, but still failed to impress his fellow theorists at PAEC, and generally in the physics community."
Unnecessary link piping
[edit]- "… Khan published papers on analytical mechanics of balancing of rotating masses, thermodynamics and the mathematical rigorous to compete, but still failed to impress his fellow theorists at PAEC, generally in the physics community."
This works fine WITHOUT any WP:Link piping, like this:
:"… Khan published papers on analytical mechanics of balancing of rotating masses, thermodynamics and the mathematical rigour to compete, but still failed to impress his fellow theorists at PAEC, generally in the physics community."
Which appears on the page as:
- "… Khan published papers on analytical mechanics of balancing of rotating masses, thermodynamics and the mathematical rigour to compete, but still failed to impress his fellow theorists at PAEC, generally in the physics community."
'Weird' linking
[edit]One of your edits created, or recreated:
:"… met with the embassy officials at the Pakistan Embassy in Hague."
Which looks like:
- "… met with the embassy officials at the Pakistan Embassy in Hague."
- Poor grammar, "… in The Hague", NOT "… in Hague."
Should be more like:
- "… met with the embassy officials at the Pakistani Embassy in The Hague ." (The cities name is "The Hague"!)
- WP:Easter egg type inking which should be avoided. You are the ONLY editor I have seen linking like this. I have removed links like this before, and you keep RETURNING them, sneakily IMHO, I might add. That is called WP:Edit warring, and you need to STOP doing it.
Grammar
[edit]"mathematical rigorous" is BAD grammar, "mathematical rigour", or "mathematically rigorous", as I believe I had it, IS correct in this case. Your usage of "the" is frequently grammatically wrong. I don't 'know' the rules for it's usage, but English IS my native language, and sometimes you just learn by experience, or what 'sounds' correct.
Editing 'style'
[edit]To top it off, the 'way' in which you edit mades it VERY hard to tell what changes you made. You seem to be frequently moving paragraphs, and adding/ removing line spaces which changes the paragraph alignment so the 'diffs' are hard to see.
See my editing 'style' here, anyone can see EXACTLY what I have done, compared to your edit here.
I find it VERY difficult to make out:
- what has been moved,
- what new text has been added, and
- what text has been altered.
'Excessive'? editing
[edit]You seem to make a LOT of edits for little obvious article improvement, you are clogging up WP:recent changes lists, for example.
I suggest that you try editing the text WITHOUT adding or removing any blank lines if you can avoid doing so. AND try to PREVIEW your edit so you can see what the 'diff' looks like to other editors.

Cleaning up after you, AGAIN, at Abdul Qadeer Khan!
[edit]So, once AGAIN after spending considerable time cleaning up after you, you came back AGAIN and repeated exactly the SAME avoidable editing mistakes and grammar errors that have been pointed out to you, by me an other editors, at least as long ago as FIVE years!
See my edit to Abdul Qadeer Khan, here. I'm not perfect but I believe that this is near 100% correct grammar. If you go back and edit back into it, poor grammar, over-linking, unnecessary piping, etc I will IMMEDIATELY take your editing up with WP administrators.
A few examples from my edit, in English, we do not write:
- "Upon learning of [the] India's surprise nuclear test … "
Instead:
- "Upon learning of India's surprise nuclear test … " or
- "Upon learning of the surprise Indian nuclear test … "
- And
- "… was given a transfer to less sensitive section …"
Instead:
- "… was given a transfer to a less sensitive section …" or
- "… was transferred to a less sensitive section …"
Take heed, I'm sick of wasting hours cleaning up your poor editing. 220 of ßorg 18:58, 5 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]ARBIPA sanctions reminder
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
Please read and respond to this discussion whenever you are able to. -- Kautilya3 (talk) 07:18, 18 March 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of India–Pakistan Chemical Weapons Agreement
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on India–Pakistan Chemical Weapons Agreement requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.nti.org/education-center/treaties-and-regimes/india-pakistan-agreement-on-chemical-weapons/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Category:Military facilities of the Pakistan Air Force indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 07:06, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Pakistan Armed Forces Nursing Service. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. Citation formatting issues
[edit]I appreciate your many contributions to Wikipedia. However, I have noticed some repeated issues with the formatting of citations in your edits. In particular, these are the problems I've noticed that cause me confusion and difficulty in interpreting and building off of your contributions:
- rp should go after

, and if multiple pages are used from the same reference, please use...
in one location and...
in additional locations in order to ensure that the footnote appears each time; see Template:Reference page and Help:References and page numbers#Inline page numbers for more information and examples. - If the source has a title, please include it exactly as stated (adjusting capitalization and punctuation is okay, but please keep the original wording to facilitate finding it); if the title is missing or too vague, and you need to use your own wording to describe it instead or in addition, please place your wording in square brackets (
[]
) to distinguish this. (And if you need to take wording from multiple places in the document or add wording from sources describing the document, please use some kind of punctuation, most likely comma, semicolon, colon, period, and/or slash [,;:./
], to separate the parts.) IMO, it's okay if it ends up looking a bit ugly, as long as the meaning is clear, since the primary goal of Wikipedia is to be informative, not beautiful.
Feel free to ping me if you have any questions or would like any further advice or clarification.
