[edit]Warning level
[edit]Exactly why have you issued a level four warning to this 2.37.207.33 (talk · contribs · WHOIS)? --Ashleyyoursmile! 15:24, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
- My mistake, I apologize. I must have had the wrong thing copied on my clipboard. I meant for a Level 2 to be issued. Owen250708 (talk) 15:29, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
I am attempting to find out why I received the following message in my personal email mailbox:
"Owen250708 left a message on your talk page in "February 2021". This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice."
I am not sure if this is the correct way to address this issue, as I have never edited a "User Talk" page before. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Herophilos (talk • contribs) 15:46, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
- My apologies, that was a mistake I made when I clicked the wrong person's talk page when reverting an edit. Please ignore this as I deleted it soon after. Owen250708 (talk) 15:48, 15 February 2021 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Military beret
[edit]The article Military beret you nominated as a good article has failed ; see Talk:Military beret for reasons why the nomination failed. If or when these points have been taken care of, you may apply for a new nomination of the article. Message delivered by Legobot, on behalf of Catlemur -- Catlemur (talk) 08:41, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
AfD during merge discussions
[edit]Hey Owen250708. I wanted to say thank you for starting an AfD on 2022 Garry's Mod hacking incident. Though, it really was not needed at all since a merge proposal was ongoing with the article in question. For future reference, it might be best to not start any AfD discussions during ongoing merge proposals, because they can interfere with each other and have different results. refusing my edit
[edit]I would like to find out why you refused my edit to the piece on Dianne Abbott - I was correcting the tabloid version that the article sustains. 82.17.147.23 (talk) 22:43, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
- Hi there,
- I rolled back your edit because you provided an unreferenced quotation, which I explained a bit more on your Talk Page. You can see more information about our BLP policy at WP:BLPRS.
- You're welcome to make another edit providing it follows all guidelines within WP:BLP. Let me know if you have any more questions. Owen250708 (talk) 22:55, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
- I quoted from her letter, which is in the public domain. I will re-edit with the reference. Can you please send me what I wrote as I didn't save a copy. 82.17.147.23 (talk) 23:36, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
Rollback granted
[edit]Hi Owen250708. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 18:40, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
