Captain Teague

[edit]

I noticed that you restored Captain Teague. There's a discussion about merging him and doing other clean-up to the PotC characters here. Feel free to join. Harry Blue5 (talkcontribs) 06:56, 20 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, for a subject to be notable on Wikipedia, it needs coverage in third party reliable sources. This includes interviews, critic reviews, and top 10 lists on reliable sources. If you can help to find this for some of the Pirates characters, that would be great. Jack Sparrow's article is the perfect example of what we want as a character article. List of Pirates of the Caribbean characters

[edit]

Just wondering where you got the first names for Edward Teague and Ian Mercer. --Boycool (talk) 11:40, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Blackbeard shows that you are in danger of breaking the three-revert rule, or that you may have already broken it. An editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Breaking the three-revert rule often leads to a block.

If you wish to avoid being blocked, instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to discuss the changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. You may still be blocked for edit warring even if you do not exceed the technical limit of the three-revert rule if your behavior indicates that you intend to continue to revert repeatedly. Hi. When you recently edited List of Pirates of the Caribbean characters, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Voodoo (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Regarding the Potco article

[edit]

Please stop changing it.

Edit warring is not necessary nor is it allowed as per Wikipedia policy found here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Edit_warring

I don't care who's right and who's not, this is getting out of hand.

R.E. Your continuous vandalisms on the POTCO Article

[edit]

I'm writing you in response to the rude message you left me earlier.

You don't own this page. Per the neutrality clause, a settlement was reached and seemingly agreed upon and you decided to come and re-incite edit-warring again. A large portion of POR's Staff are Ex-TLOPO. That being said, the age of your project is irrelevant. Use a more credible rationalization. You don't dictate whether or not our project's name is in bold text. To reiterate, you do not own this page. You're welcome to make another page if you'd like. Your veil threats to "involve an administrator" are quite frankly, pathetic. Please, by all means, involve one. I'm quite certain that if they adequately review my editing history on the page, and then look at yours, they'll reach the obvious conclusion that you are the one causing the problems here.

"Good day."

Regards,

Pearson Wright — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pearson Wright (talkcontribs) 12:04, 22 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop

[edit]

Stop editing the potco article with the "TLOPO was first" thing.

It's irrelevant and is in no way a part of the article.

If it does not adhere to the neutrality policy of Wikipedia (Which it does not) it does not belong.
