June 2021

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Robby.is.on. I noticed that you recently removed content from Aliou Cissé without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Medal templates

[edit]

Please stop adding medal templates to football player/manager infoboxes. Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people, and there is no consensus to include any honours as 'medals' in the infobox. GiantSnowman 14:09, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Does Carlos Alberto Parreira's page contain errors? I didn't write anything on that page, and please see for yourself what's in there? His medal table is really long, isn't it? Magenta Montase (talk) 14:58, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Hervé Renard, you may be blocked from editing. GiantSnowman 14:58, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Jan Versleijen article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 19:35, 25 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Hugo Tocalli, you may be blocked from editing. GiantSnowman 16:19, 26 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Again - why do you continue to add these medals when I have informed you that you should not? GiantSnowman 19:33, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Logo resolution

[edit]

Hi. Regarding your recent talk page messages at several sport events asking for high-resolution logos, Wikipedia aims to be a free encyclopedia, and as such non-free content, including logos, which are subject to copyright, must be used at a minimum, in accordance with the WP:Non-free content criteria. Per criterion 3b, minimum resolution must be used, so your request unfortunately cannot be met. --Paul_012 (talk) 04:12, 27 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:04, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
