Quadrilateral Security Dialogue
[edit]Hi Lzy881114, I'm trying to convince somebody in the Wiki:China project to review my article on the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, as its current rating of C seems unwarranted, especially since I put a lot of work into improving the article after the initial rating. Heihe data
[edit]Where, and for which city, did you get the additional climatic information for Heihe? The record temps, daily mean temp, and precip match the Weather.com.cn source, but [cdc.cma.gov.cn/shuju/search1.jsp?dsid=SURF_CLI_CHN_MUL_MMON_19712000_CES&tpcat=SURF&type=table&pageid=3 CMA] doesn't have data for Heihe city proper. AWB
[edit]Please take care that you are not making edits using AutoWikiBrowser that have no effect in the appearance of an article as you did at Chengdu UFO incident, Sanyuanli Incident, Nansha New Area, and elsewhere. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions about how to use AWB. Andrew327 08:38, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- Since I posted the above message, you have made several more blank edits, including Qingyunpu District, Qingshanhu District, Lixia District, Licheng District, Jinan, Organic Food Development Center, and Nankeen. Please stop. Again, if you have any questions, please let me know either here or on my talk page. I'm happy to help you understand AWB's rules. Andrew327 09:13, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- I assume that AWB is stopping to notify you whenever you have a new post to your talk page, meaning you should have seen my past two posts. However, you have continued making blank edits, including Gannan County, Tieli, Shuangcheng District, Zhaodong, and Wudalianchi. Please stop. Talk to me and I can help you. Or you can ask questions to the AWB Talk Page if you want another opinion. Andrew327 09:44, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
What did you mean by "have no effect in the appearance of the article"? I just use the function of Apply general fixes.Lzy881114 (talk) 09:47, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- The fourth rule for using AWB: "Do not make insignificant or inconsequential edits. An edit that has no noticeable effect on the rendered page is generally considered an insignificant edit. If in doubt, or if other editors object to edits on the basis of this rule, seek consensus at an appropriate venue before making further edits." If you let it, AutoWikiBrowser will make all sorts of edits that it shouldn't. You have to review every proposed edit and make sure it's something you really want to do before approving it. That includes making sure that your edit will actually improve an article as opposed to making it worse or making no change at all. Andrew327 10:05, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- Alright. I'll notice that.Lzy881114 (talk) 10:09, 29 May 2014 (UTC)
- I can tell you're making an effort, but watch out for blank edits like Category:Prefecture-level divisions of Jiangsu, Zixing, Hai'an County, Category:Prefecture-level divisions of Guangxi, etc. Andrew327 10:48, 29 May 2014 (UTC)

Tai'an
[edit]Good riddance. The HKO source you provided clearly states
Climatological information for Tai Shan is not available. For reference, climatological information of the nearest available station, Qingdao (290 km east of Tai Shan) is given above.
Location of weather station in Qingdao : 36.1 N, 120.3 E, altitude : 76 m
Qingdao might as well be a completely different climate from the non-peninsular part of Shandong: it has warmer lows than the interior locations of the in the winter, AND a noticeable seasonal lag. Not to mention Mount Tai at an elevation of 1,500 m. would be MUCH cooler in all months than Qingdao. Please self-revert TLA 3x ♭ → ♮ 14:32, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- Taishan area is under the jurisdiction of Tai'an Prefecture-level city. The climate data has nothing to do with Qingdao obviously.Lzy881114 (talk) 02:51, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

In the 48 hours+ that I gave you, you failed to spot the disclaimer at the bottom, so do I need to supply a screenshot? The climate data has nothing to do with Qingdao obviously
(your words) Wrong because it was taken from Qingdao itself. TLA 3x ♭ → ♮ 03:05, 7 July 2014 (UTC)- I have already added a reference of weather.com.cn, which shows the daily mean temp of Taishan area. Lzy881114 (talk) 03:12, 7 July 2014 (UTC)
- Right but the highs/lows are still from Qingdao 1961–90. And the Weather.com.cn data are from the city of Tai'an itself, not the summit of Mount Tai; they are far too warm and dry to be the summit. TLA 3x ♭ → ♮ 03:21, 7 July 2014 (UTC)

[edit]I see that you have recently requested peer reviews for three articles: Changchun, Harbin and Nanjing. Please read the "Instructions" section of the WP:PR page, where you will see that editors are allowed only one live peer review nomination at a time. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:19, 20 October 2016 (UTC)
