Za Beograd moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Za Beograd, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 13:59, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

An article you recently created, List of hillforts in Lithuania, is not suitable as written to remain published. While it appears to be notable, it needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. There are large sections which are wholly uncited. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. I did this rather than removing the uncited material in the article, which I felt would be more disruptive. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask on my talk page. When you have the required sourcing (and every assertion needs a source), and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Or feel free to ping me to take another look.Onel5969 TT me 11:12, 6 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for this interesting article, which I've reviewed. I've also done some light copy-editing. It wasn't clear whether you intended UK or US spelling, as there were elements of both. I've normalised it throughout to UK spelling, but by all means change to US spelling if that's what you had in mind, as long as it's consistent. Best wishes, Ingratis (talk) 07:14, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry - thought you'd finished. I'll leave it alone while you're working on it but please note the point about ENGVAR consistency. Ingratis (talk) 07:18, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Erla (disambiguation), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Erla Þorsteinsdóttir. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Dnieper into Dnieper basin. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 16:31, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Za Beograd (2).png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Za Beograd (2).png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Vanjagenije (talk) 21:08, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Stulgiai

[edit]

Hello Lokys dar Vienas,

I'm Ingratis, and I patrol new pages here on Wikipedia.

I wanted to let you know that I have tagged a page that you created (Stulgiai) for deletion because it is unnecessary per one of the criteria at WP:G14.

If you feel that the page shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Ingratis}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

To add to the auto message above: The point is that the page only contains redlinks - i.e., none of the articles disambiguated have been written (yet). The articles (or at least a couple of them) must be written first; then the disambiguation page can be created (for the existing articles only), and as others are written they can be added to the page. See WP:DAB for further information on disambiguation. Ingratis (talk) 07:09, 28 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
