And most of the others, including the template

[edit]
On a related note, the other dozen or so articles that you created with much the same content (ie, not any to speak of) don't really warrant coverage under WP:NOTE, lacking any independent citations or even a single statement of fact that can't be effectively made at Deaflympics. [[WP:SPLIT|Split them off again when they warrant it, but they plainly don't at present. Merging them back in to the parent article and nominating the navbox template for deletion. Parent categories

[edit]

Since the FIFA World Cup articles are already in categories such as Category:International football (soccer) competitions hosted by Argentina, there is no need for you to also add them to Category:Sports festivals in Argentina. I have therefore reverted your edits. – PeeJay 22:25, 25 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Greco-Roman wrestling at the 1977 Summer Universiade has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Content already covered at Wrestling at the 1977 Summer Universiade

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Football at the 1997 Summer Universiade requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
