Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 08:38, 26 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate the explanation, thanks @Arjayay Jocelyn doubleday (talk) 22:27, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV concerns

Information icon Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Robert W. Malone. Ways to improve Baltazar Fedalizo

[edit]

Hello, Jocelyn doubleday,

Thank you for creating Baltazar Fedalizo.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

As this person is a candidate, notability as given in WP:POLITICIAN must be met.

The references given do not address the biography of this person.
More sources are needed. Individual sources must be evaluated separately and independently of each other and meet the four criteria below to determine if a source qualifies towards establishing notability.

  1. Contain significant coverage addressing the subject of the article directly and in depth.
  2. Be completely independent of the article subject.
  3. Meet the standard for being a reliable source.
  4. Be a secondary source; primary and tertiary sources do not count towards establishing notability.
  5. Interviews are Primary sources. See WP:PRIMARY which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Whiteguru}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Baltazar Fedalizo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. PRAXIDICAE💕 13:14, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon

Hello Jocelyn doubleday. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Jocelyn doubleday. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Jocelyn doubleday|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. PRAXIDICAE💕 13:15, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

PRAXIDICAE💕 13:44, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I am not compensated directly or indirectly for this or any other page creation or edits I've made. What seems to be the issue with the page? I'm trying to do better adhering to the rules and guidelines but I'm still a notice. Please tell me what I am missing. Jocelyn doubleday (talk) 22:18, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your accusation of discrimination

[edit]

I note in this edit you have made the following veiled accusation: Is this some sort of AAPI discrimination? in direct response to my simple and policy based opinion to delete the article.

I can tell you with absolute clarity that this behaviour is not tolerated on Wikipedia. Neither discrimination nor accusations of discrimination are tolerated. Please read, understand, and always employ WP:CIVIL. Your comment was entirely uncivil. Please read, understand, and always employ WP:AGF. Your comment failed to assume good faith. Please take this message to you as an absolute formal warming as to your conduct here.

As a side issue, I had to look up the abbreviation AAPI. I can tell you with equal clarity that I do not discriminate against any ethnicity, colour, creed, secularity or any other discriminatory issue. I find your accusation grossly offensive and demeaning. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 15:19, 26 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Firefangledfeathers. I noticed that you recently removed content from Self-coup without adequately explaining why. Your userpage

[edit]

I removed the infobox from your userpage, as infoboxes are pretty much reserved for articles, and we need to make sure that userpages are not perceived as articles, draft articles or social-media-style profiles. --Orange Mike | Talk 00:39, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Baltazar Fedalizo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Baltazar Fedalizo. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
