Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello JGA2k! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 452 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Marvin Umanzor - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hello, If you feel that the article feels unorganized because of the kits, I think that it is better that it may be cut off of the article. Although, I was thinking that you could create another article for all of the kits (as a main article). I really like the new organization of the article. --Thank you. Adding References

[edit]

Hello JGA2k, I have updated the reference citings in the El Salvador national football team. Please make sure when you add new things such as player call-ups to cite where you got it from. Like the free agent of Rudis Corrales, please make sure you add that you got it from elsalvador.com or whichever website. It will be reliable for other users to see and get our article to be more noticable.

Please refer to Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners

JGA2k, right now Mardoqueo Henriquez is going through some recovery, due to injury, APART from the group. I have not added him because the current squad only applies to those who are currently training with the senior team in preparation for the 2011 Central American Cup. He is currently coordinating his movements and exercises with the national physical coordinator, Esteban Coppia. I will edit coaching staff because at the this moment the official physical coordinator is Francisco Amaya Cruz. You may add Mardoqueo Henriquez when he is truly recovered and can train with the whole group. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaime070996 (talkcontribs) 02:13, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you have any chance could you improve this article: Independence Centenary Games.

  • Note: The final score dispute (Costa Rica 7-0 El Salvador or Costa Rica 3-0 El Salvador) will be a challenge.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Invite to the African Destubathon

[edit]

Hi. You may be interested in participating in the African Destubathon which starts on October 15. Africa currently has over 37,000 stubs and badly needs a quality improvement editathon/contest to flesh out basic stubs. There are proposed substantial prizes to give to editors who do the most articles, and planned smaller prizes for doing to most destubs for each of the 53 African countries, so should be enjoyable! So it would be a good chance to win something for improving stubs on African sportspeople, including footballers, athletes, Olympians and Paralympians etc, particularly female ones, but also male. Even if contests aren't your thing we would be grateful if you could consider destubbing a few African articles during the drive to help the cause and help reduce the massive 37,000 + stub count, of which many are rated high importance (think Regions of countries etc). If you're interested in competing or just loosely contributing a few expanded articles on African Paralympians, Olympians and committees etc, please add your name to the Contestants/participants section. Diversity of work from a lot of people will make this that bit more special. Thanks. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:13, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Latin American 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Latin America/The 10,000 Challenge ‎ has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Argentina etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Latin American content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon. If you would like to see this happening for Latin America, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Latin America, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant!♦ --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 00:36, 27 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
