Your recent edit to Horizon High School (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. I was trying to put that Horizon High School page in a different page because there is more than one Horizon High School -- i_dont_know_is_it 19:47, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
After you create a page for Horizon High School (Colorado), you can add a disambiguation tag to the top of the existing Horizon High School page, e.g.:
This article refers to the high school in Scottsdale, Arizona. For the high school in Thornton, Colorado, see Horizon High School (Colorado).
I'll create the page for you to work on and add that statement now. The page Wikipedia:Disambiguation explains Wikipedia's guidelines on resolving situations like schools with the same name in different states. --Oddharmonic 17:29, 30 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Larry Cole, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. dockingmantalk 18:25, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blanking your talk page

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Yarnalgo 19:31, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello I dont know is it, I've noticed you have taken a shine to making lacrosse player articles. I would like to invite you to join WikiProject Lacrosse, a collaborative effort to improve Wikipedia's coverage of the sport of lacrosse. If you would like to participate, you can visit the project page, where you can join the project and see a list of open tasks. --Yarnalgo 19:33, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Colorado Mammoth Players category

[edit]

Hi there... You have added a few players to the nonexistent Colorado Mammoth Players category. I have changed all of them to be in Category:Colorado Mammoth players (note capitalization of players), and I also created that category. If you're creating any new pages for Mammoth players, please be sure to put them into the new category rather than the old one. Thanks!

FYI, I will probably also change your player articles so that the stats tables are consistent with those on the other players pages. I have a Python script that will get the stats from nll.com and properly format them, so if you want me to do that (saves you from typing them all in) on any future pages, just let me know, I'm happy to do it. --MrBoo (talk, contribs) 18:07, 4 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Aurora Central High School, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of Aurora Hills Middle School

[edit]

An editor has nominated Aurora Hills Middle School, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aurora Hills Middle School and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello I dont know is it! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 11 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 391 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

The article Jamey Bowen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced, notability therefore unclear

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jamie Shewchuk requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
