Re: Nice Job!

Thank you! Seen you beat me a few times too, today -- keep up the good work yourself. Gscshoyru (talk) 13:17, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your comment on Dwight Eisenhower's Rolex Watch

Regarding your comments. Would including a picture of the watch and its uniqueness help in satisfying the notability guidelines? As well, do you think that an entry detailing the history of Raleigh DeGeer Amyx's entire collection would be helpful? Thanks, Ryan Raw4815 (talk) 21:51, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Since you participated in this merge proposal which was put in an AfD, and therefore was procedurally closed, your input would be appreciated for an actual merge discussion on the article's talk page. Thanks!--Yaksar (let's chat) 02:19, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Article on Machines

Sorry to bother you, but I am new to Wikipedia and I am trying to improve the article on machines. However, our colleague Derek farn makes changes that introduce errors without any explanation. He even deleted a series of references that did not match his view. If you take a moment to read the discussion, I believe you will see that there is a problem. Thanks

for the reverts here. Cheers, Rivertorch (talk) 03:57, 4 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Toronto Zen Centre has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication or evidence of notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. please add this to the articles for deletion page so it can be discussed there.Golgofrinchian (talk) 23:42, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It was a proposed deletion ("prod"), not an AfD. Please read the tag to see what options there are - which include simply removing the tag, but unless notability is evidenced it will probably go to an AfD later on. Cheers, PKT(alk) 12:21, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ahhh I havent even logged into Wikipedia in a long time. Got the terms mixed up. Anyway, I did a cursory search on google books for the Toronto Zen Center and found it mentioned in passing in a few books and in-depth mentions in several. I might not have time to add all of these to the article in that I am super busy lately. I will try to do it before the article is deleted. Thanks Golgofrinchian (talk) 12:47, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You were asking about your AN/SPS-48E article back in 2010 - I suspect you may have figured out how redirects work by now, but for the record it's here - if you go to AN/SPS-48E it will redirect to AN/SPS-48 but there is a link back to the redirecting page under the title. 86.23.40.224 (talk) 22:17, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
