Great Work!

[edit]

Hello,

Just thought I'd let you know that you're doing some great work! I spotted you on a few Greater Manchester articles, and wondered if you're from the area? If so (or even if not) you may wish to visit WP:GM for a place on Wikipedia all about developing Greater Manchester articles! If you're interested in national geography, WP:UKGEO might be your thing instead!? Simillarly, WP:UKCITIES is a useful guide on writing about settlements.

Whether you take this up or not, please, please keep up, the good work. Any questions, feel free to get at me on my talk page. Thanks again, -- Jza84 · (talk) 21:01, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Grid for Horwood House

[edit]

I notice that you put a gris box in for the Little Horwood Page. I have now pinched that grid and put it in the Horwood House page and wonder if you would be able to fix it with the correct grid ref as I dont know how to do this. Hope you can help. Infobox changes

[edit]

Hello there Dallan72, thanks for the contact,

I've posted notices at Template_talk:Infobox UK place as well as WT:UKGEO. I've requested that all discussion be centralised at Talk:Beverley. I will pass comment there myself shortly! Thanks again for the notice about this, --Jza84 |  Talk  18:06, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just wondered too, seeing as you've been around for sometime, if you've thought about creating a Userpage for yourself and turn that redlink blue? And... (I know I've mentioned this before), if you'd be willing to join us at WP:UKGEO? I think we need more editors like yourself around! --Jza84 |  Talk  19:33, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rounduing coordinates

[edit]

When you reduce the precision of coordinates, as you did here, please be sure to round digits correctly. For example, 52.527667 becomes 52.5277, not 52.5276. I've fixed that one, but please check any others you've recently changed. Thank you. Andy Mabbett (User:Pigsonthewing); Andy's talk; Andy's edits 10:39, 24 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
