Howling
[edit]I seen that you had asked a question upon editing the Goetia page. The sentence mentioning "howling" we actually forgot to delete. I think it was put there by a user who was disputing the eytmology, and one of his terms meant howling. Just to let you know...Zos 04:32, 29 May 2006 (UTC)

Osiris in the Buffyverse
[edit]Talk:List_of_fictional_deities - you added a comment about Osiris not belonging in the list of 'fictional' deities. I agree wholeheartedly and so I've taken Osiris off the list. Have also made some suggestions on the talk page though if you want to add you two pence worth? Curiousbadger 16:03, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Please Do NOT Bite The Newcomers
[edit]After reviewing Talk:Necropolis, I have a couple things for you to look at.
- 1.)Don't let grumpy users scare you off.
- 2.)At the bottom the "Sign your comments" page it explains how to deal with with unsigned posts.
Don't let grumpy users scare you off is at the top of your page, please review it again. Bear21 16:26, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Thank you...
[edit]...for creating such a cool little icon for the Prisoner userbox. The previous icon was deemed unmutual and had to be removed. :)
Be seeing you!

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
[edit]Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:45, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 17
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Neron (DC Comics), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Barry Allen (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It wasn't vandalism. I made a typo, it was autocorrect (I was typing on my phone). I meant to spell "Dex". — YoungForever(talk) 18:59, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Google Code-In 2019 is coming - please mentor some documentation tasks!
[edit]Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!
