[edit]Hello, I'm Phenolla. An edit you recently made to The King Edward VI School, Morpeth seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Phenolla ⚫️🔵 06:33, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to The King Edward VI School, Morpeth, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 08:53, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
Welcome!
[edit]Hello, C l savage, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was The_King_Edward_VI_School,_Morpeth, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms our use and policy on paid editing.

Change of content
[edit]I am the current headteacher. The structure of the organisation has changed. There is no longer an executive headteacher or head of school just a headteacher which is me Ms Clare Savage. Please visit the school website for confirmation C l savage (talk) 11:18, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
- @C l savage: The website still lists an executive headteacher and the headteachers title is 'Mrs' on the website. See [1]. Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 12:33, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
Sourcing, verifiability and COI
[edit]Hi, I just reverted the changes you've made at The King Edward VI School, Morpeth, since you did not provide any sources to support the changes. The school website still lists Mr Simon Taylor as the Executive Headteacher, and Mrs Clare Savage as the Headteacher. Wikipedia relies upon WP:Verifiability - since there is no way that we can verify that you are who you say you are, we cannot simply take your word for it that this information is correct. I would also like to draw your attention to our policy on conflicts of interest - please read the policy fully, but in a nutshell, assuming you are who you say you are, you must disclose your COI whenever you change information on the page, and you must not change information in the interest of yourself or of the school. I hope that's helpful, GirthSummit (blether) 11:30, 6 October 2018 (UTC)
