Welcome!

Hello, Andygregryan, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Telepath (band), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article Telepath (band) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This band fails WP:MUSIC as none of their albums have charted and I can find no significant third-party coverage of them.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have nominated Telepath (band), an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Telepath (band). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. ArcAngel (talk) 23:01, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

I have blocked your account for one week because it seems apparent that you are also editing as User:Gkatz at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Telepath (band). Using multiple accounts is generally not permitted, particularly when done to influence the formation of consensus such as in this case. Please familiarize yourself with the policies I have linked to, which provide more information about the reasoning for this block. You may appeal this block by posting {{unblock|your reason here}} below this message; an administrator will review your request and unblock you if they believe you understand the reason for the block and will not repeat this action again. Administrators, you're free to do so without discussing with me first. Hersfold (t/a/c) 05:18, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I understand your concerns about individuals trying to establish consensus through illegitimate means but I am not the user GKatz. I would not use multiple accounts to try to get an article on Wikipedia, I am trying to broaden human knowledge, not impede it.

Decline reason:

I find the evidence linking this account to the GKatz account to be compelling. --Jayron32 21:01, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
