Confusing edits

[edit]

I just noticed some rather major edits to the Project Wizard page that have left the article a shambles. In addition to an entirely confusing LEAD, much of the text that was removed was done so for unclear reasons. GAPA led directly to Wizard, so it's certainly on-topic, and the cancellation/de-funding of Wizard was done for BOMARCs favour. I see several additions that are certainly useful, but I can't figure out how to merge it all together usefully. Maury Markowitz (talk) 19:14, 30 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Two quick notes

[edit]

Thanks for your page creations, as they are a great help to this project! I have two requests, though: Would it be possible to please either create the categories that you are adding to articles, or not add them at all, as you are adding an awful lot of empty categories to articles, and it is not our job to create them, especially since most of us would not be able to distinguish them apart. Also, please be more careful in citation templates, as you are leaving many broken ones on your page creations, which wreaks havoc with the page and sourcing. Otherwise, there isn't much else to say for now, but these are some of the issues that I thought would be worth mentioning for now. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 05:04, 15 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Raven Rock Mountain Complex geological history

Hi, at the Raven Rock Mountain Complex<ref>https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Raven_Rock_Mountain_Complex&diff=611529383&oldid=600111163 </ref> page you seem to have added that the mountains "were formed in the tbd geologic period" -- I'm confused about the use of "tbd" here. Is it some geological term which is mistakenly directing to the "To be announced" page, or is the geologic period really unknown and still "to be determined"? Sorry if I'm asking an obvious question, but as I was reading the article this part really confused me.Ibennetch (talk) 03:14, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 13:26, 9 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
