Please stop
[edit]Please stop trying to change the Androgenic alopecia article to fit your interpretation (misinterpretation?) of a single journal article. The article you mention is already cited in the article, but the conclusions you draw do not appear to match the conclusions drawn by the article's authors. Growth hormone
[edit]The references that you have added in this edit, namely, PMID 20373593, PMID 11422104, and PMID 10971102 do not support the conclusion that you have come to, hence I have reverted your edit. You give the impression that GH treatment would benefit many adults with low risk of side effects. However the sources that you cite are much more cautious. All three cited sources acknowledge that the potential side effects of GH treatment (diabetes and cancer) are very dangerous and hence all three sources advocate a very conservative and cautious approach to GH therapy. Furthermore, the cited sources state that GH treatment should be restricted to those with clinically verified adult growth hormone deficiency and then only when the dose of GH is very carefully titrated so that IGF-I levels to not exceed normal ranges. Lacking controlled clinical studies, the jury is still out as to whether the benefits of GH therapy would outweigh the risks. Boghog (talk) 14:03, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
