Group status for 2021 Copa Libertadores Femenina
[edit]Hi, I think using "Q" would be better than "A" because Q says qualified to the phase indicated which shows the teams advance to the quarter-finals whereas A says advance to a further round which isn't as specific. Thanks, Mwiqdoh (talk) 15:30, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
Q is used when a team qualified for a phase of a different tournament. For example the Argentine champions qualified for the Copa Libertadores. A is used when a team advanced in the same tournament.
Hi, but 2021–22 UEFA Champions League#Group stage uses Q for teams qualifying to the Round of 16. Thanks, Mwiqdoh (talk) 22:13, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
Ok. I used Q and A to distinguish between advance and qualify. Probably the editor of the Champions League has a different criterium. Please check https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Module:Sports_table/WDL in "Results and status".
Alright, the groups are over anyways but I just saw on the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification – CAF Second Round to advance to the third round (a different tournament) they use A, and for the Champions League for the same competition, from the group stage to Round of 16 they use Q. Thank you sir and keep up the good work! Mwiqdoh (talk) 13:20, 11 November 2021 (UTC)
