Please note that Influences on J. R. R. Tolkien is a top-level summary of an enormous subject, which is covered here in numerous subsidiary articles. The top-level article should only be extended if a whole aspect has been overlooked; where there's a subsidiary article, like Tolkien's modern sources, much more detail will be found down there, and more can be added and cited judiciously if needed. That is very unlikely to be by creating an uninformative list ("He was influenced by Tom, Dick, Harry, Mick, Jock, Frank, Steve, and Zebedee"), far more likely to be by discussing in a new paragraph how Zebedee influenced him, in what book, what Tolkien did with it, and citing suitable sources with page references. If Zebedee turns out to be really rather significant, then we might possibly consider adding a brief mention of him in the main 'Influences' article; it definitely isn't the place to begin.
