Hello, I'm Adakiko. I noticed that you made a change to an article, 1873 in India, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Adakiko (talk) 07:33, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

- It's available on indiacode.nic.in

Per wp:Verifiability, content should wp:cite a wp:reliable source. The wp:BURDEN is on you. Adakiko (talk) 07:36, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

- verifiable, just search 1873 on https://www.indiacode.nic.in/simple-search?page-token=58e276ef1ad0&page-token-value=85af6fb153b651dd1c66617c15d991aa&nccharset=34E46278&location=%2F&query=1873&rpp=10&sort_by=score&order=desc

You need to add wp:inline citations. Others may want to do further research. See help:referencing for beginners. Adakiko (talk) 07:41, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Your edits have been saved in the wp:page history. Feel free to restore them with a citation. Adakiko (talk) 07:44, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

- can I use this code :

{{cite web}}: Empty citation (help) ?

<ref>{{cite web |url= |title= |date= |website= |publisher= |access-date= }}</ref>

That would work. I modified it a bit. The Wikipedia editor has a toolbar which will help add a citation. It's described in help:referencing for beginners. Also see {{cite web}} for very verbose documentation. The nowiki stuff is so it will display; don't add to a citation! Adakiko (talk) 07:47, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

- Got it, thanks very much !

You really need to add more information to the citation than that. I filled in the citation on 1908 in India. Probably should be a citation for each entry... CHeers Adakiko (talk) 08:14, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
On 1906 in India you added "Mamlatdars Courts Act". I did a search for it on indiacode.nic.in and nothing came up. Adakiko (talk) 08:17, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Good job on adding and updating citations! It's hard work; citations are the backbone of Wikipedia. Without them, editors could make up anything (and some do!) and not be accountable. Adakiko (talk) 21:56, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
